I love Colombia and my spouse is Colombian but wont live there more than 182 days a year, there are so many other options that do not tax worldwide income, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay ….
Having a 7 digit 401k, there is no way I would give Columbia 1/3 of my 401k money. Too many other international expat options.
