The documents were delivered on September 24th, 2024 (last Monday). I recently checked the status via CEAC; the status was updated on September 27th, 2024 with the status of “Refusal”. Should I be worried, or do they need more time to review? I already sent an inquiry the date of delivery. What should I do? Thank you, Sir.

Hi Diego. How are u doing? Its Nina I was in Bogota got my K1 visa. Got to the US. They stamped my passport September 30th had to get married before that date. Got my SSN. Got married on September 15th. Went to the Social security office today September 19th for the name change and I was told that they cannot do the name change because its less that 2 weeks leading up to September 30th. I was told I hv to see if they can extend the date beyond September 30th. I don't get it because I did get married before the 30th. Do you know how I go about this. At the Social security office I was even told that I can work because I hv a SSN. But I know that's not true smh

I have a question, me and my husband has not filed adjustment of status yet, but we are trying to start filling out the documents now. Anyways my husband some how got a job at dollar tree and is currently working there . Me looking for answers for these documents I came across some comments and post that my husband shouldn’t be working yet because he’s not authorized to work yet. And that It can really mess up our immigration status!??? Is this true? How was dollar tree even able to give him a job if he’s not able to work yet? What should I do? And how should i go about this? If he shouldn’t be working , should I tell him to stop working at dollar tree right now? Even on the adjustment of status document we put he’s currently working at dollar tree! Should we keep that on there or should we take that off? And redo that part of the document?
