Changing oil with Mobile1 Extended Life Synthetic oil 5w-30.
To save money I on oil I would suggest that you buy 5qt bottles from Walmart or Amazon

This way its a lot cheaper that buying individual 1qt bottles that are fairly expansive.

Engine Oil and Oil Filter
Replace the oil filter and drain and
refill the engine oil at specified intervals.
SAE 0W-20 oil is the best
choice for good fuel economy and
good starting in cold weather. If SAE
0W-20 is not available, SAE 5W-20
may be used; however, it must be
replaced with SAE 0W-20 at the next
oil change. See your Lexus dealer for
oil specifically formulated for your
vehicle’s engine. For instructions on
how to reset the reminder light, refer
to your Owner’s Manual.

looks like the smaller nut to drain the oil from the filter (before removing the filter completely) was stripped. is this why you didn't show it being removed (and you didn't use the small plastic tube to drain the filter oil nor replace the small rubber gasket)?
Yes, The small nut got striped, it is made out of aluminium or something. I had the oil change done by a shop before that, and they have over tightened it and overfilled the oil..
I probably should have mentioned that way if it happens to someone they will know that its not the end of the world and you can still do a oil change job without it.

5-30 is better, idk why your manual is wrong.

When i pull dipstick out its all over the place not perfect line did you do it cold
I think I waited half Hour to a hour to cool it off a little bit. its not always a perfect line.Focus more on the dots rather than the line.

How often do i need to change my oil on 2006 Lexus IS250 at 124233 Miles?
If you use regular oil every 5k miles. If you use synthetic oil then you should be ok for about 7k-8k becuse oil filter need to be rplaced. But rememebr to check oil levels every 5k. I will make a video on this topic today or tommorow
The car specifies 0W-20 which is not available as a conventional oil.

What type of oil do you use synthetic or regular. Regular every 5k, for sythetic anywere between 6-10ki would recomand every 7k just becuse the oil will be good but the oil filter needs to be replaced more regularly
Hello. Well, I changed my oil to my Lexus 250 exactly 1 year ago. I used synthetic oil. I drove only 3000 miles. Now my Lexus keeps making sound telling me I need to change oil again. What seems to be the problem? Thanks 🙏 again.
@@luckylucky344 its possibe that you have a reminder set. It is recommended that you change your oil over certain miles or time. I dont remember exactly what it is. But i forgot to mention that lexus is250 and most newer cars burn oil to help pistons lubricate. So even if your oil is good you still should check oil level every 5k and add oil if necessary
@@luckylucky344 you may need to reset the chanch oil light and if you have Navigation then go there and reset reminder

mobil1 is not full syntetic in germany
Oh well... In the USA there is a difference between full synthetic and 100% Synthetic. Mobile 1 is labeled as full synthetic so it qualifies as that.
