Their summers are dry, pleasant with comfortable breeze. Yes creative use of the fire place when not during their freezing winters is interesting. * Whereas our summers are hot, humid, sweaty, rainy, with mud and slush everywhere. So we have to think differently for our farmhouses. - - - A friend from India - - -
As for the dead topiary... I either spray paint them a moss green and keep them.. or I let them get dried and turn taupe and brown and incorporate them into my fall decor with pumpkins and pears.
So, so good. I was able to hear each individual without interruptions. Michele's home was so bright and cheerful. She is a lovely person. Our temps in the south today are 99 high with 76 low/heat index of 109...it is hot folks!! With this heat wave a lot of our states are in, please stay cool and inside your home. Thank you girls for the video. Please introduce your sweet mom too each time. ❤
Looove your style! We just moved from Washington to deep east Texas because I fell in love with Texas style! And I can’t wait to start creating my own Texas decor.
I believe Vintage styled homes are flexible to be decorated. It's like its embracing any elements that will be combined to it and its so fulfilling to experience. 😉🫰
I love Michelle and all her ideas. Wonderful person to share her home so many times. Thank you Michelle, for letting us into your world. Thank you also Michelle and Shelby for all your hard work. We love it!
4th of July in sunny California is a wonderful high of 77 in the Bay Area... This is always my most favorite home.. Every time you feature Michelle, I bookmark her home through the seasons. The inspiration is endless!! Her style is amazing.
I love this outdoor space with the garage doors , it is so cozy and provides extra space when the weather gets cooler with a cozy fire. Our temp in New England today is 81 with 78% humidity with a light drizzle (it has been raining on and off for days, on a clear day we have smoke from Canada wild fires, not the best summer so far.) just making the most of it. Love this home.
I always love when y’all share home tours. I understand the heat. I live in Florida & we can not enjoy our outside spaces at all until about December or January. But it makes us look forward to cooler weather & less humidity. Thanks for today’s video
Michele's style is simply stunning. I'm going to watch this video 500 more times like I do for her Christmas tours. Her creativity is so uniquely her. I wish she had a master class where I can learn what to look for while antique shopping. Thank you for this amazing home tour. I so excited to be here. :)
My gosh, thank you so much for a wonderful garden tour today. I loved it so much a beautiful home inside and out. Hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy and Debbie.
This is probably my favorite video y’all have done. I’m moving from Waco back to my hometown in DeKalb, Texas in the near future, and I had an epiphany watching this about what I should do on my patio at the house we have bought there. I love everything Michelle does!
Yay!! This comment made my day. This is why we share tours. To give ideas for your own home and get excited to make it just what your family is dreaming of 💕
@@vintagehomedesigns4763, thank you! The house we have bought was built in 1971 and belonged for decades to my aunt and uncle. It needs some love! My IKEA Ektorp loveseat that I thought I would just give away when we leave Waco is now going on my patio thanks to you! I’ve made many slipcovers for chairs and sofas and know how wonderfully practical they are. Your down sofa with its combination of a store bought slipcover for the base and custom covers for the cushions is genius.
I'm a Wacoan now for years but grew up in Palestine and Tyler with friends in Clarksville. Going back to the pineywoods and red dirt sounds like a great plan!
Michele’s home has always been a favorite and it didn’t disappoint this time. The addition of blue is wonderful. The front porch is absolutely gorgeous. Love her topiaries. I can grow most anything but don’t have luck with topiaries 😒. Thanks ladies for an awesome tour. Love and blessings 💙💙💙
I love the brick floors! Thanks for sharing your source. I’m wondering about where you got the couch slipcover. I realized that the cushions were custom and hand sewn, but the cover for the back and sides looks really nice too. My dog ripped a seam on the back of my couch, peeking out the window. It’s such a good idea to cover it, rather than replacing the whole thing. Thanks for the inspiration!
I appreciate this visit and coversation so much! Loved how Michele alternated the attachment of the patio string lights; and what a perfect balance and ambiance in her front garden choice of plantings and layouts! Thank you for this video!
😮this is not my style BUT AFTER WATCHING this video ..I could be😊..she has such great style and I wish I had a tenth of her skills.very beautiful and put together ❤️
New subscriber here 💐🥰 I absolutely loved this video This gave me so many idea's Seriously I appreciate y'alls channel Thank you for inviting us in this Beautiful home all I can say is Wow 👏
July 1 and just started reaching 90° in Southern Ohio. It has been a very unusual Spring and Summer. It has been so cool at night that we have not been in our pool one time this season! Farmer's Almanac prediction is for a lot of rain for July in our part of the country! 😂
Watch all of your videos ❤ Your mom has amazing fashion sense. She is absolutely adorable. I mean you both are, but she's more my age, so I'm stealing her style😂 you've come a long way with your content and I love it all!
Such a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing! I do have a question about the 3 ball topiary. What type of plant are they? And...do they survive well under the porch roof or do they have to have direct sunlight every now and again?
Love love your videos!! You are guys are great and this is a beautiful home tour!! Were you going to post the pillow links? They are really pretty!! Keep it up!!
This home can be used as a movie set. Just gorgeous
Love this home more than all the other homes on u tube!

Love her style. Instant stress relief. So serene and relaxing with the muted tones. But I do love the flags and blue and white. :)

My gosh, thank you so much for a wonderful garden tour today. I loved it so much a beautiful home inside and out. Hugs and kisses from grandma, Sandy and Debbie.
I'm so glad you enjoyed! Thanks for watching 💕
Stunning home
You could use votive candles on pedestals at various heights to give the ambiance of a fire in the fireplace. Battery operated ones work well also
Ha! I hate red flowers too. Overall, love the look and vibe of Michele's home and garden.
Beautiful and cozy! I love the pops of blue! Such a gorgeous home. Your home tours are so enjoyable. I also love the dress your Mom is wearing.

Thank you, and yes the front door is an old one. I found it at a salvage place in Dallas when we were building our home.

I love the home & how you share their love of things! I also love the dress that Michelle is wearing. May I ask the brand?
Beautiful home❤
Fabulous home❤
Can I ask, over the hutch what do you use to hang the items you change out? I am a renter and can’t put holes in the walls.
Such a beautiful home! Thank you for sharing! I do have a question about the 3 ball topiary. What type of plant are they? And...do they survive well under the porch roof or do they have to have direct sunlight every now and again?
