Thanx, Mixing And Mastering both processes require you to add plugins or effects. Mixing is just the process of blending your instruments which also includes vocals so that they all can be heard clearly when the song plays so during mixing you use effects or plugins to try and achieve. During mastering which is the last process. You are now trying to make your balanced mix ready for radio ,streaming platforms and other playback devices so you also use effects to make your music clear and loud enough to be played anywhere.

Hi, Tsepzee thanks for dropping by and you are welcome, The Mastering part was supposed to be part 2 unfortunately before I could make the video on it I lost this project people have been asking how I mastered it honestly I didn't do much with it on the master bus I only put a vintage Compressor from cubase set it to the preset larger than live I think and put a limiter set it to the Preset loud and proud and set the input on the limitor to - 6.0 luckily I was satisfied with how the final came out because this was just a quick studio session though I do not recommend it if you would want to watch a mastering tutorial with a bit of information I have made one here👇 hope you find some helpful information there

Hi @g Newells thanx for dropping by, Well you maybe right depending on how you look at mixing if you are looking at it in terms of plugins yes you are right but mixing does not only involve plugins but levels tool and in this video I focused on sharing a trick I use to level the vocal and the beat, if you take a look at the title of the video I have put "Levels" at the end .
