The larger circle you have cut out lay it over the 2 inch hole and drill a hole next to the 2 inch hole so you can insert the bolt and attach the wing nut to it. Once you have done this you can control of the amount of heat released from the bucket. Once you control the bucket heat tighten the wing nut tight to maintain the desired heat within the bucket. It's just a trail and error method of closing or opening the gape between the 3 and 2 inch hole. It will take a little time to get it right.The thermometer just level with the eggs must maintain 100 degrees. Don't start with to big of bulb. Allow it to hang down inside the bucket around 6-8 inches. It will work.

I has 2 abandoned pigeon eggs outside my window, so i took em in today, theyre still alive but idk how long it will take for them to hatch or if they will survive with the current situation theyre in rn 😥
I took a box, and used 40 watt bulb as my heat source and i made a nest and put some water in the box too. I hope they survive 😭
