Awesome video! Tell your little helper that we think she's doing a fabulous job with the videoing! Won't be long, and you're going to be helping her with her own channel! Thanks for the great content, and keep up the excellent work!
Jordan you know what would be awesome for us as viewers to see? If you did a time lapse of cleaning your farm, and build new enclosures for them. I think you'll get alot of views. Not only will it benefit you but it's satisfying for us to see a transformation. Just a thought . Love your videos man !
@@coreyhallman3134 what's wrong with that? It was a suggestion? If I had the wood and supplies I would help. No offense, but the farm looks kinda messy, I'm sure many will agree. If not what's wrong with just cleaning the farm up a little bit. He'll get more views which means more money for him to help fund the farm, instead of just buying animals and auctioning them off.
@@MrGrizzlyXiong my farm is messy cause animals are messy and he works a full time job I’m getting sick of people mouthing off to him about it unless you have a full time job and a farm and family don’t worry about it
@@coreyhallman3134 sheeesh.. Did I say it in a rude way? I think not. I still watch his videos regardless cause I like the content. I'm trying to help him get more better content and views as a subscriber.
Love it when Peanut is on! We are wanting to attend the auction ourselves, but have no idea where its at! We can chat at the farmers market! Lookin forward to seeing yall!
Will she be the next producer for your videos ? Does the auction have a buyers premium ? I'd say , she did a great intro and good job showing things with the camera and with that million dollar smile , she might be the next you tube award winner , bringing in the dough. Keep up the good work. God bless y'all
Anthony from the Bronx New York where are you located I've been watching your channel for a while pretty good it makes my day pigeon flyer at the age of 6 now 66 still love the pigeons take care be safe
The kit box is good for training. How do they get back into the box? If there is an entrance you will need to train them on how to get back in. I use a cage, small wire one, modified so the birds can get back into the cage. This teaches them for safety and feeding. Do not let your birds linger on top of the kit box or the hawks will eat them. Train them when they come down from flying food is going to be there so they have incentive to get in the box. Training takes a couple of weeks but worth it so you don't lose birds. I have found most bird people are "hoarders" of sorts. Pigeons are time hoarders if you want to do it correctly. Those reds are ash reds one of the three basic colors. Rollers do not house with the homers. Homers are athletes and so are rollers. To get the best out of them they do best with their own and do what they are bred for best. Just remember with the pigeons "MORE" is not always better. Concentrate on 5- pairs and the genetics you are after. Good luck and you have an awesome family!!!
Get them going the day you move them in. If you leave it open a falcon can get in there or cats. You can use bobs but I use 45 degree PVC elbow so they can get in but not get out / also keeps other critters out. I get an occasional squirrel or starling.
If you want to home in your homers faster you’ll have to leave them on a cage ontop of their coop & starve them . Get them use to the sound of feed while you slowly train them by putting them in & out of the coop . Leaving them hungry will want them to stick around and eat . When you feel comfortable. Don’t scare them out . Just leave the door open and watch them come out themselves and hangout to get used around their area . Birds will take off once they’re comfortable. Note : if they’re fed they’ll most likely take off or stick around for awhile and won’t trap . Leaving them hungry will have them trap in a hurry to eat .
Good job peanut, your becoming a you tube star. Keep those auction videos coming Jordan. Hopefully we will be up there for the May one. 2nd round of chemo coming this week so won't be there for the April auction.
Pigeon video! If you want any ideas to help settle them take a look at my tunnel video, you can have them flying in six days. Let me know if I can help or answer any questions! Made from scrap! Your seven look great! You can use just a piece of plywood as a trap. Take a look at my earlier videos.
On your new kit loft, I would add a trap and a small removable training pen on the upper door. Personally, I fly Old English style (no trap, no landing boards, just a door and they go in and out on command) and I have flown that way since I started well over 40+ years ago, but I think you will find using a trap and a training cage much easier the first time. It will also save you the frustration and time involved in trying to coax the slow learners back in.
Love her shoes on the wrong feet. My girls used to do that too! They get used to it, that they think it’s suppose to be worn like that. Lol they do get over it.
I subscribe to a lot of channels but this is the best. I used to raise a lot of birds but live in town now. And the hunting videos are great also. Can't wait for more content.
U should take out the u should build a sun cage that well attached too the trap door so they well learn how to go in and out. And the tray u should take out after there done eating
Alright Jordan if you bred all them birds u put in the loft I'd start trap training straight away, If you can try a bigger landing board just under your trap door, the best thing to do is just bang it into you-tube, trap training young bird's it will show u 100s of different ways to do it, best of luck with getting ur bird's flying you'll have them flying in no time if they have never been out& all youngster's, 🇮🇪 DUBLIN 🇮🇪
Would have like to have seen shelter for the Birds from the wind blowing sand and dust in their eyes, (No offense to you Jorden), pigeon fancier for many years. Buyers will be treating them. (canker/frightening the birds)eye infecsion/throat infecsions/mites

Nice video!! Maybe you can build a aviary for the young pigeons. In that way they can settle.
Peanut is absolutely adorable you should make her a channel on TH-cam
What gopros or cameras do you use ?
Great looking small pigeon loft
four months Jorden
I would use the trap. It will help keep out both flying and land predators out while still letting them get in.
This is the best jordan lol.. peanut is going to have to become your personal camera girl lol..
correct color of "red "ybs is mealeys

For young birds how long should I keep them captive until I can let them out to fly and not fly away?

Much better to focus on only one content.
That's not a loft that's a kit box for roller pigeons,
