That's crazy. I have the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and I could never spend money to upgrade because of such a small and subtle difference like the display being flat. The phones are way too similar to eachother to justify that in my opinion. To each their own.

I bought the S24 Ultra by exchanging my S23. I feel like the speaker output is a bit on the harsh side compared to the S23. What's your opinion in that.
I went from s8 to s24u such a big jump and the 7 years of os updates and the spen since i use that alot as an artist.
I love my S23U. I feel no reason to upgrade. It's plenty fast, battery lasts a lot and I got enough RAM since I got the mid-tier model.
Great content. I'm gonna hold on to my s23 ultra at least until the s25 ultra comes out. And if the 25 ultra impresses me, then I'll upgrade.

I'm going to keep my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra until the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra comes out in 2027. I want to get my money's worth and use this phone until it stops getting updates. Then I'll upgrade.
Just a small correction. The base S23 Ultra last year was $1200 but it only had 8 gigs of ram not 12 like this years base. Anyway I did enjoyed your video 🙂
I did trade in my s23 ultra for s24 ultra. My s23U had no scratches at all. But s24U has a scratch on that titanium frame already. I did not drop it at all. I think aluminium was better than titanium.
But it does feel premium.
I'll keep my s23ultra until s25ultra if I'm not impressed with the s25u then i have no problem keeping the s23u.
Yup. Im keeping my S23 Ultra and won't even think about upgrading until the S27 Ultra is released in 2027. I need all those 4 years of OS updates.
I currently have both. They’re both awesome. The S23 Ultra feels better but the 24U feels lighter even though the difference win weight is negligible. The 23U display colors pop more even with the update to the 24U. Performance again, almost nothing different. If you have the 23U, save your money and wait either for the price to go down, trade in value increases or the 25 Ultra. Ai will come to the 23U as well. Great vid buddy.

@@user-zo6wn9fc5m the sound quality is a bit deeper on the S24 Ultra than on the S23 Ultra. It’s not a major difference as compared to the rest of the features. Just my opinion.

Still happy with my S22 Ultra and plan to hold on to it for a while. I like the size because it helps my aged eyes read content. Flat or curved glass isn't an issue for me, but it could be the case I have my phone in. I don't use my phone in too many ways, such as gaming. Mostly, I talk, text, and watch an occasional YT video or check an email. I have learned that I don't really use the S Pen much, so if I do buy a new phone a year or so from now, I may check another brand. The main must have for this old lady is screen real estate. We shall see. :)

To the best of my knowledge, the game in question is Justice Online Mobile. I have been playing the game since its open beta on June 30, 2023 up to know, using spen for translation, because I don't know a single chinese word. In terms of performance, I have tested the game on both the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S23 Ultra, equipped with the Snapdragon Gen 2 processor, outperforms the S24 Ultra, which has the Snapdragon Gen 3 processor, in this particular game. The S23 Ultra consistently maintains a frame rate of 60 frames per second (FPS) and operates at a cooler temperature, while the S24 Ultra struggles to maintain a stable 40 FPS and experiences overheating. Additionally, the S24 Ultra exhibits noticeable lag and stuttering during gameplay, whereas the S23 Ultra delivers smooth and fast performance.

Im coming from the A73, was checking between iphone 15 pro max and the s24. But after playing around with my friends iphone and s23, i have ordered the s24... Apple i felt it was only good on the camera... But for normal use case it sucks
Love my s23ultra, it's still the king, hope to have for the next 10 years. I also have an a 71 which is still great as well and a Huawei mate SE that I am comment on. Buy the best phone in the batch and they will last you a very long time, if you try to be careful. Have to Care My phones because they are not cheap.
I love my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra as well. I'll keep using it until at least 2027 when the Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra comes out. I also take incredibly good care of my phones and tech.

I'm running the S24 Ultra 526 and I'm pissed off that Samsung has taken the SD card! Now being a photographer I understand that recording and high end /pro shooting needs to write on a different level... but there's no reason why they couldn't have adjusted the hardware / software to port 8k 4k 120 etc... and Raw images into internal phones memory, and then give us the decision to import photos, apps, games etc... that run perfectly fine over to the SD CARD!! I love Samsung iPhone at Note 2. I've owned EVERY Note since even had a couple Folds but still found myself going back to Note and my SPen! We NEED you You Tubers to be a voice for us and tell these big tech companies stop taking stuff away, and then raising the price! Fist it was ir blaster, then head phone jacks, then the 20 camera set up, sure up the cameras obviously but no need to take the look out...we get a 4ft* cable and no charging super fast charging brick??? Ridiculous!- But the others are... huge price and No Micro SD CARD!!! Let's all fight this... it only takes 5mins to email or text or call Samsung and tell them they will lose you a customer if the don't put the SD card back in!, it's in my Tab S9+ 5g so why not my "mini computer" ???

Flat screen and anti-glare screen, although hardware characteristics, these 2 alone are enough to buy or change the s23u. The heat dissipation in a specially hot year as this one, is another hardware factor. The titanium resistance, for such an expensive phone, is another hw factor. The dimmer screen for reading at night, is another deciding (hw) factor. They look like twin phones, but the s24u is much much better phone. Nevertheless, the s23u is a wonderful phone, worth buying over many other 2024 brand models. Informative video, good.
But you know that in England. Many people get phones et from high street companies. eg. Vodafone etc. So how can we get A CASHBACK?
I got both phones I did not commit to the s24 because the s23 is brighter, video and pictures are much clearer and vivid on the s23. The only difference I've notice is on Netflix picture quality tho dimmer goes to the s24.

I have S23 Ultra and was planning g to upgrade. But Space zoom is awful on 24 ultra. Apparently 50 mega pixel doesn’t work at 100x zoom, only 12 mega pixel for 100x zoom. What is the fun then?
100x zoom was a gimmick on the S23U, it's a gimmick on the S24U. How is that your priority?
I got the 24 for the flat screen...thats it. Battery life is slightly better on s24 ultra i get about 30 min more SOT.
Prefer the 10x zoom on my s23 ultra...they should have left that alone.
S23Ultra is still king, destroys S24 at 30x-50x
But the s24u DESTROYS the s23u at 5 to 9.9 where MOST photos are taken...plus the 5x optical itself is the PERFECT shot and is amazing compared to the 3x on both phones due to 50mp sensor....Samsung knew what they were doing and many of us applaud....and the s24u kills the s23u in EVERY way why a phone makes a phone

That's my struggle too as I like the curved display, feels more comfortable in my opinion.
Main reason I went for 24U, curved display is a nightmare for S Pen users, I hate the experience on my S22U.
@@jahalang0112 I don't use my S-Pen often enough for that to be a nuisance to me. When I do, it's never been an issue using the pen.
I use it a lot, and it was always sliping of the edges, so annoying. Aside of that, I don't see much of a difference, and tbh curved display on my S22U and even old S10+ does look more attractive.
Then ya'll should stay... cuz I'm a daily SPen user and I'm doing cartwheels over here for my flat screen again! Lol
The S24U kinda gives the same effect as when the S9 came out..... There really doesn't seem like there's any upgrade from the phones before them..... The differences are neglible.... Personally I think the S24U was half baked IMO
S22 ultra user still probably won't upgrade to s25 ultra comes out
I just switched from the 22U, and the largest change ived noticed by far is the battery. The battery difference is very big

I have s23U, camera sucks man. Can't believe a word reviews say. Most get paid by sammy. Unfortunately I like android os and my options are sammy or google in NA. But if you have options, avoid this stupid over processed camera.
Man at 8:54 the s23 display looks so much better, more vibrant and clear, the s24 is kinda washed, almost like IPS.
The s24 ultra has screen issues i replaced it twice and got back to the s23 ultra

The S24 Ultra is the best Samsung phone I've ever used in terms of the display. It doesn't reflect light strongly back to the eyes as all other Samsung's phones do. The reflection of the light to the eyes stops in the middle so it doesn't reach to the eyes strongly to cause eye strain. I couldn't use my 23 Ultra for 10 minutes without my eyes burning in but I can use my S24 Ultra all day or all night with no effect to my eyes
I'm trading in my S23U for a S24U and next year, approx same time; most likely trading in the S24U for a S25U. I will do it because the next generation is better than the previous generation and I will do it because I can!
Most important never rely on the info received from someone who only wants people to look at a video so they can make money. Plenty of other places to research that are not just in it for the money. And besides, this is all based on this guy's opinion...and who is he? Nothing!
