Update: Rolling Thunder Revue is the Martin Scorsese is the film I was referring to. Some other documentaries that I like are: American Movie, The King Of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters and Anvil: The Story Of Anvil.
all good selections. wanna see a crazy doc check out Giuseppe Makes a Movie. some others suggestions: Hotel Coolgardie, Tribute (about tribute bands), Los Angeles Plays Itself, Best Worst Movie, World Before Your Feet, Beauty is Embarrassing, and the Up series.
@@STEVEHEROLD thanks Steve. I’ll need to investigate all of those documentaries because I’ve never heard of them. Have you ever heard of The King of Kong: A Fistful Of Quarters?
@@Holland_Oates excellent! I see what you did there, you didn’t want to edit and lose the like, but I always look at my comments on new videos and add the likes back, that’s a veteran move on your side, Holland. 🤣
Nice list. I believe I've only seen Hoop Dreams which I thought was great. Have access to The Montery Pop Festival. Added Lost in La Manch to my list. I have that Apocalypse Now Blu-Ray and the Star Wars Bonus Feature DVD. Will have to check them out. I think I'd like When We Were Kings too as I'm an Muhammed Ali fan. My Brother in Law is a huge fan of The Last Walz. Will have to check out that sometime time. Cool idea for a video.
@@physicalmediaman yes, all of those are great Criterion releases. Lost in La Mancha is a train wreck you can’t turn off. Did you see that James Earl Jones died, Joe?
@@JasonMcElwain-fb6os that’s great one too, I have it on DVD. There’s some funny drama in that movie, when the guy pronounces that other guy’s name wrong throughout until near the end.
You're like me: you like everything! 😂 As for Empire of Dreams.....I can't understand how it's not included with every major Star Wars release. It's the greatest bonus feature on the subject ever done, and somehow you're forced to watch it on old discs (or in horrible quality on TH-cam). Makes no sense!
I’m planning to check out more criterion movies

@@excelsiormoviereviews yeh that was good. youve seen Brilliant Stoned Drunk Dead about National Lampoon right? If not youd prob like that one too.
@@STEVEHEROLDno, I haven’t seen it, but I will add it to the top of my list since I love National Lampoon.
Have you ever seen American Movie? Coven!
I love me a documentary from time to time. A couple I can recommend that I saw recently are To Kill a Tiger, and Under the Red Sun.
@@Holland_Oates very cool! I’ll investigate this two documentaries. Thanks Holland.
It's actually Under the Sun (2015).

I just figured you would get another notification to ensure you were looking up the right documentary. 😂
