I have seen Dylan live 5 times and he is NEVER less than brilliant. He's amazing. He's up there with Ed Byrne for that, both amazingly consistent brilliant comedians
@@eyebrowman1 both have reduced me to a giggling puddle with their material. that's what matters. the rest is just style preference. I love both of them, I don't get into who is better, it doesn't matter.
I am SO glad I am not the only teenage girl who find him attractive! I mean, the Irish accent, the hair and intelligence, the wit, humor and charm! Gorgeous!
As an Irish person working at a summer camp in Florida, I used to jolt upright out of a hard camp bed for the rush 😂, seeing these insanely sized insects all over the shop
We were very hygiene conscious. Well we were very conscious that my lack of hygiene had created things that had consciousness. LMAO!!! Dylan Moran is awesome.
I used to live with two friends. We were very good cooks. We were very hygene conscious, well we were very conscious that our lack of hygene had created things that had consciousness.
Irish hair in general is typically VERY curly (not all, but quite a bit of it) which shows up best in Irish men because their hair isn't typically long enough to pull the curl out, but it's long enough TO curl, often in a very wild manner.. He's basically just making fun of how crazy some Irishmen and those of Irish decent can look if they have Irish hair.. to give you an idea, I do have Irish hair, and my bedhead makes me want to yell, "IT'S ALIIIVE!!" whenever I see it
Actually you're quite right, and at this rate Dylan may live forever.. But it only works on the Irish and those of strong enough Irish heritage to have the Irish hair and cast-iron liver :3
Reminds me of how drink can make things difficult, the last clan battle in Scotland was between the Gunns and the Sinclairs in Wick the county of Caithness, the night before the battle the Sinclairs all consumed home made alcohol, they lost the battle as many were blind because of the alcohol
I think this might be his set from _Just for Laughs_ 1998. That's shot at the Montreal International Comedy Festival. The background is similar to that for Mitch Hedberg's 1998 set on _Just For Laughs_ but the monitors have a different picture on them.
@12345l6789 i think you may be write there, The Irish do seem to possess an ability of some sort when it comes to linguistic jousting and effortless depth of thought. I like Ireland
@TheGzeus Actually, I don't believe Ross Noble has ever recycled any of his work...but he's in a different genre of comedy altogether lol With Dylan Moran, he's done different stuff in each of his main shows, these little appearances were just testers to see what works :)
Anysound89, I'm not trying to be snarky, but that's kind of like going to see a band several times in a year or 2 and then complaining b/c most of the set list was the same at all the shows. I enjoy seeing how pros work out material and change it a bit each time until they get it into a final form. It's kind of like listening to music demo tapes and rehearsals. I can see where some people don't like that kind of thing, but it's not the "fault" of the comic or the musician.
Depends on the comedy and how they use the expletives. I love Jimmy Carr and Frankie Boyle, and they tend to drop a lot of swear words. Then again, any Scottish comedian tends to drop lots of swear words. :D
@STABBERBALBOA he does recycle alot of jokes, but take a look at some of his interviews. he can come up with new stuff on the spot, hes just a bit lazy lol. which is half his appeal..
@madaboutjackass i know right? no passion what so ever ... not like in any of his comedy tours ... It's like someone made him read his jokes off a piece of paper :( ... half of the act is the way he makes you think hes improvising ;)
@NotWorthPrayers No, a person's name contains a first name and a surname, and that's generalization. Would you like to continue this worthless argument?
Very disappointed. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with comedians recycling a joke or two. But almost every single thing he says here he has used somewhere else.
Someonez Mom A song has melody, catchiness, background instruments providing harmony, solos by said instruments; lyrics are just one component of what can make or break a song. A joke can only be told so many times before a comedian's routine gets stale. Some songs are impressive simply because of the range you are required to possess even to attempt it. Mozart's "Queen of the Night" is a good example. In this case, it is performed to showcase the singer's virtuosic talent, and could be sung by humanity for hundreds of years. Now, there are jokes that are hard to properly tell. But with enough practise any joke can be told by any person. Most people will never be able to sing Queen of the Night. That being said, if a singer sings just the same song over and over again without coming up with new songs, they lose their fanbase pretty quickly too. Next time you ask something of someone, it would be polite for you to say "please".
omg.... seriously. same jokes over and over and over again. i'm seeing him in may and i REALLY hope he has some new material or else it'll be a waste of $70
All he's done is mix his jokes about. I heard a delivery done so much better to the degree to can't help feeling. He really doesn't give a pair about this audience.
"We were very hygiene conscious. Well we were very conscious that our lack of hygiene had created things that had consciousness." BRILLIANT!
Totally!!
Wow, spoilers, bro
thankyou for quoting the entire joke as if we didnt all just watch it...
I have seen Dylan live 5 times and he is NEVER less than brilliant. He's amazing. He's up there with Ed Byrne for that, both amazingly consistent brilliant comedians
There is no comparison between Dylan Moran and Ed Byrne. Dylan Moran is more intelligent and his style is more 'out there'.
@@eyebrowman1 both have reduced me to a giggling puddle with their material. that's what matters. the rest is just style preference. I love both of them, I don't get into who is better, it doesn't matter.
Dylan's brilliant, one of the best comedians ever I believe.
Montreal Canada...
I'm a Canadian, and just about lost my mind laughing at him.
His humour is subtle. I like it.
I am SO glad I am not the only teenage girl who find him attractive! I mean, the Irish accent, the hair and intelligence, the wit, humor and charm! Gorgeous!
Im not a teenager, but uve loved him since i WAS one..
I mean ive*
"I'm" and "I've"
I slightly fancy him and I'm a straight man.
I'm 78 and I find him attractive too!
i dont mind it when he reuses jokes its like a musician playing your favorite song at a concert.
This wasn't even one of his best clips, but he is an absolute genius, best comedian around.
"We were very hygiene-conscious. Well, we were conscious, that our lack of hygiene had created things that had consciousness."
My favorite quote!!!
thankyou for quoting the entire joke as if we didnt all just watch it...
I could listen to Dylan Moran for hours, so funny is this man.
:D
He has such pretty, soft looking hair. "This time, this time, I will make something that has two colors in it." LOL. He is brilliant.
“I don’t understand all the drugs that young people are doing. If I want a rush I just get out of a chair when I’m not expecting it.”

It's subtle but not only subtle.
Dylan completely takes the stream of conciousnes style of comedy and throws a duck at it.
I love when he pulls out the cigarette! Just made my day! Because no one does that anymore.
Best moment
are we gonna over look the fact he just pulled a cigeret out of his hair
YES. WE. ARE.
That's normal for Montreal.
Coulda pulled it from worse places.
I just caught it..
@Bolshevik Breaker eeediot
He's soooooooo attractive.
Yes!
I love a project as much as the next girl
Fists of bread, dipped in anything runnier than bread.
Making it even cooler was that the cig stayed in place while he did and un-did his "Irish hair" earlier in the set...
you have to love his shirt!!!!!
He's incredible
I'm so drunk I'm seeinmg double. Whichb means Dylan Is twice as funny.

Brilliant, from start to finish! This guy is hilarious :D
My uncle totally has Irish hair. I literally cannot look at him without cracking up.

I had no idea that "cheese thing" and "cheese fantasy" were his intellectual properties. Dylan Moran is so 👍
He only gets better looking as he gets older. That's not even human!!
Noa Zamstein This was in the late 90s.
Wow, hadn't seen this performance before, thanks for uploading it! :)
He is so funny 😂 check out Black Books
I love this guy 👍😊😀
Good, very good.
I'm trying to catch up with Dylan Moran's career. I only discovered him few months ago !!! 😆
I'm stunned... that's insane!
I know. That just oozed awesome.
I love him
Actually, he's done the pissing himself one a few times in different shows over the years, but over all he is very original and damn funny

“What can you do then but join a folk band?“ 🤣
Multi skilled person that man, i reacted the exact same way, haha
Cute and funny as hell. I love a cynical drunk.
you can stop getting old. but it involves a lot of wiskey and a handgun.
It's so much harder for longer form comics like Dylan to do 5-7 mins from their hour.
I totally agree.. There is something about him! :D
and hes serious!
He might be a bit buzzed, but that's not why it sounds like he's slurring his speech, that's just his accent.
@neevaroboto somehow enhances the "im completely stoned" effect.
@neevaroboto nah its fiercely mild
@RisteardOCronaile He does, actually!
@madaboutjackass thats the way he always appears
LMFAO!
anyone know when this was filmed?
montreal does not get Dylan Moran it is such a pity
at about 3:20 he dose some stuff I haven't heard in any of his other shows before
@futurestoryteller Dylan Moran's always reminded me of George Carlin (who is, probably, my favourite comedian of all time!).
H S Both Irish

Uh, no it's a first name and a last name.
hahahahaha hahahaha
@futurestoryteller That's one name.
I think he did.
@futurestoryteller A name contains of a first name and a surname.
What does he says the "cheese fantasy" consists of?
some fruit you find around the house or something...and while you eat it you fantasize that it has cheese on it
SomeoneSimple95 Thanks dude :)
MarinoBebop hey, spread the comedy, you know:)
An apple you find at 5am when you get home drunk, and you pretend it's got cheese on it.
He's Irish xD

@soniclocke Yeah, he really has. Not even slightly though, some are word for word. I am really dissapointed :(
I still LOVE him though! :)
I like it too, but it sure as hell isn't subtle.
all comics "recycle" jokes
its like shooting a gun if it works it works you dont toss it aside after the first bullet
Pretty sure he was being ironic.
Nobody smokes in Montreal? Are we sure he's BEEN to Montreal?
I received a lovely signed picture from Dylan. If you would like same, post here for contact info. Dylan is such a lovely person =)
not as good as his stand up dvd's but still he's so witty...
Oh for christ's sake...

Andrew Wang do you get as angry when a singer sing their hits over, and over and over again? Just curious
Someonez Mom No, that's completely different.
Andrew Wang explain to me why it is different.
Someonez Mom A song has melody, catchiness, background instruments providing harmony, solos by said instruments; lyrics are just one component of what can make or break a song. A joke can only be told so many times before a comedian's routine gets stale.

Moran is good, but he didn't have any real energy there. Not like He usually does.
boring
I still prefer Bill Bailey.
I don't like it either. I have a filthy mouth, but that's just me. People who depend on swears for laughs all the time are generally not funny.
A bit disappointing. 90 percent of this is just reused stuff. I was hoping for some more dylan moran originality.
