ITs so freaking awesome that Ikram now is also in the UFC, he won yesterday his fight in the Contendor series and Dana give him the contract. Ikram stands now on 13:1, only Khamzat beat him. Khamzat say 1-2 days before the Burns fight that Ikram was his strongest opponent.

That was one of the cleanest uppercuts....Period. That plus the Gangster's Life instrumental was....immaculate. But I have to give it up to Ikram, that was some serious takedown defence and he wasn't afraid to stand up either. I'm glad Ikram is in the UFC now.

Just goes to show, being a "nobody" doesn't mean youre a push over. Ikram is a badass and he got knocked the fuck out by the wolf. He's now in the UFC and I expect to see more from him in the future. This guy was solid all around.

The punch that Ikram threw right before he got KO'd, that was one of the most telegraphed punches, Khamzat dodged and blocked with ease. Still what Khamzat did afterwards was so perfectly placed with great power. Impressive.

If I were a UFC fighter from the States or any other western country, I'd just go to Dagestan or Chechnya, pay them, and get proper training in the wrestling department.

This guy is something else. Unrefined here, but you can clearly see the potential. A 1 round domination, though excellent takedown defense by the opponent, despite having practically no control time. If anyone knows how much control time he had let me know.

This guys fought each other in such a young age: 26(Aliskerov) 24(Khamzat)
Now both guys were able to polish their skillsets and techniques as both of them have gotten older and matured as a Mix Martial Artist, their fight games have also drastically improved since they last met each other in the cage, both now have a decent MMA experience, and currently both of them are in the UFC and running through their division so I won't be surprise if they see each other again in Octagon sooner or later.
For this fight we could see that Aliskerov having a Sambo background have a far batter grappling than Chimaev, especially his base see in 4:22 and 3:00 where Aliskerov almost got in the better position
And Khamzat proving that he was the more polished striker of the two seen in 2:12 with his step in power jab and 4:08 that feint shot into right hand into stance shift

Timed him on that uppercut. His soul left his body...even that mouthpiece was separated from his corpse...hope he was alright though. God Bless Him.
