No, in this fight Khanzat only had a few months of MMA training. Now he has 3 years of training. But he still did the same things he did to UFC opponents to this guy. Took him down in the first 10 seconds (check), knocked him down with his first straight punch (check) and submitted him with a D'Arce (check).
And he hasn't fought the best competition in UFC, not even the top 15. I think he will do well but you can't compare the guys Khamzat has faced to UFC fighters.

Some guys are good with takedowns but very bad takedown defense, most wrestlers are not very good if you put them on their back. He obviously realized "i cant stand with this motherfucker, he's gonna throw me" so he decided to go for his own fucking takedown.. it failed but he had to try something new, because plan A didnt work.
