    for people who aren't aware, this is when rafael was in BEAST MODE. he won five straight before this fight, then five after to win the lightweight belt. this, imo is one of khabibs most impressive victories. rafael dos anjos was unstoppable at this point in his career.

      Starched Bendo and absolutely mauled Nate Diaz after this. RDA had everything, dangerous striking and grappling, cardio, an iron chin, and he was the gold standard of a pressure fighter.

      @@Chopper51138 I would have liked to see a 165lb division. At least at this current time, I think he depletes himself a bit to make 155 now and he’s too small to seriously compete at 170.

      @Chopper51138 2 ปีที่แล้ว +102

      @@jeffhabib6673 165 would be such a great division, so many guys who just don’t fit at LW or WW. RDA, Kevin Lee, Nate Diaz, Masvidal, and many more. I feel like Colby or Burns would likely rule that division though. Neither have any trouble at all making 170, and are already near the top of the food chain at welterweight.

    • @jeffhabib6673
      @jeffhabib6673 2 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      @@Chopper51138 I know. It’s a shame. Making welterweight 175 as well would be a good thing too. You’re right about Colby/Burns. They would probably dominate. Wonder Boy might actually be someone who would move to 165. Lightweight and welterweight are probably the deepest divisions. At least they are up there so they would have no problems filling that division up.
