  • Just going through some old b-roll this car is too cool to not share with you guys all of the different lines and features in design.. we did a full review on this car a little while back if you’d like to check it out click the link below.
    • 1956 Buick roadmaster ...
PS all of this B role will be included at the end of the episodes moving forward. These are just cars that I still have. B roll for plus it really helps people who are putting these cars back together no bumpers and trim pieces as well as where they go.

What a magnificent thing it is in that unearthly green! You’ve got to love all the aviation cues, including those gunsights over the headlights! Beautiful restoration job. 👍🏻

Still love the color of that Roadmaster, Charles Phoenix has a 58 Super on his channel in a similar color.

What a stunning color! 🤯 I believe it is Kearney Green... IF it's the original color.

That car was originally two tone. Notice the little extra piece of trim above the front wheel opening.

Spot on! And it needs to be matching the interior. The roof and inserts both light green like on the lower dash! A fabulous car!

That is just what I was thinking. Or, lighter green lower body and white roof. Three tone paint was very popular on 55 and 56 Buicks. @@ragtopdlxzl1

I’m finding these b rolls to be interesting. You get to look at the little details on these cars a lot more. The portholes, for instance.

I don’t know why I didn’t include the bee rolls at the end of the episodes, but moving forward that’s the way it’s going to be I have a few more left over contemplating on whether or not to put them on here. I probably will eventually.
The only thing is is, I don’t have all the footage from
      The ones remaining
      De Soto air flow
      Auburn speedster
      Kaiser Darrin
      63 Grand Prix
      63 dart

It's GORGEOUS, OVERWHELMING and superbly elegant!!! With such a grand standing, pride and self-consciousness, the word ROADMASTER oozes prestige and respect!!! And being placed with a Studebaker President at the portside andwith a 1940s unidentified at the starboardside, this 1956 Buick Roadmaster Riviera Sedan looks like the undisputed master of all Mother Earth's highways and roads surrounded by its courtiers!

I believe it was only three years in which Buick had its model year written on the chrome front & rear, '55, '56 & '57. PS Just noticed this Roadmaster does not have it written on the rear, but other Buicks in the line had it.

This brings back a bad memory. I was 10 and it was 1967. My father was driving a 1965 Mustang 2+2 with a 4 speed, we were on interstate 280. He had a heart attack and the car was heading for the embankment. I took control and got us the a phone. My brother who is 15 years older then me had a green 56 Roadmaster and gave me a driving lesson in it, a few in fact. A month later my father was dead

Wow, I’m sorry thank you for sharing the story with us though.. did your father die when he had the heart attack? The only reason I’m asking is because my grandpa was my best friend and he had a massive heart attack and died. They hit him for dead for 16 minutes and he came back and talked about what it was like on the other side he said it wasn’t his choice to come back… i’ve shared the story a couple times, but I might share again maybe in the next live event or something I told him that I would do everything I could to help him share his story. He’s been gone since 2005 I was 16 at the time he actually died three days before I got my drivers license and it really sucked I still miss him, he made me know I am today

@What.its.like. He was 47, way too young. Don't get me wrong, I love your channel, and the 56 Buick is one of my favorite cars. But that one is the same one my brother had, inside and out. Being 10, I made a mess out of the 4 speed, trying to get off the freeway and to a phone. In those days, there was no 911, and I had to find a dime to get the pay phone to work. 1967 medicine was not as good as it is today, I had a major heart attack 5 years ago, 5 bypasses and 3 days later I woke up in the ICU. Enjoy every moment and never leave any unsaid, you never know when that last moment will come.

@@thestevedoughtyshow27 I’m glad you’re doing better. I’m sorry to hear about your dad passing away at 47. my dad died here eight years in December. It’s hard to believe it’s been that long from they’re not 100% sure what my dad died from his death certificate says complications from phenomena he was 55, my grandfather died the first time when he was 55 and then the second time when he was 66.. he was my mom‘s dad.. my mom and Grandma are the only two left. Grandma is 83. Little Italian lady that doesn’t take shit for no one..

@What.its.like. My mom passed in 2017. She was 97. She remarried when I was 14, and my dad adopted me. So I have his last name. I, too, am Italian, both sides of the family. My dad died 2001, and yes, I miss him too. He was a great guy, taught me to fly a plane when I was 15, sent me to school for high performance driving when I was 17. I wanted to race formula cars.
