Honestly, Cox , Hansen & Co isn't the right move to take on the biggest AFL club not only by Value but also the best facilities by a long long way! Inexperienced coach to take on that heavy load of expectations is very very RISKY
Dean Cox is a very experienced assistant coach at Sydney. The Swans have been a juggernaut for a long time and are the clear premiership favourites so far this year. They rate Cox so highly that he is already set to take over from Longmire. That's good enough for me.
Wasn't A Simpson an inexperienced coach when he took the job also? Was that a mistake? Who do you suggest then?

@@darensavy5014 Wasnt Craig McRae inexperienced when he took over Collingwood? Another example being Bevo when he took over the dogs, both are pretty big clubs so dont let lack of being a senior coach disqualify someone

You guys should do better it’s the players that should do better not the coach is trying to make them better at the game it’s not smart you guys should let him stay. You guys don’t want him just cause you never got along and just cause the team hasn’t done the best so not his problem so he trying to make all the players better at the game and why do you want west coast to fail at AFL level like why are you trying to make front of are players so like you are calling all the young guys not better but some of the players are still new to the club and league
If you think Adam Simpson was not at fault, then you really need to think again. Yes, the players are also at fault, as well as the board of directors. But Simpson coached very poorly after 2018 (and probably 2016 and 2017 as well).

Throughout his time at the Eagles and especially during the last few seasons, The West Australian newspaper were actually very flattering towards Simpson and the players. It was the eastern states media who were a lot more honest about the club's failings. Simpson insulted the very media (WA) who covered up how truly dismal he was during his last several seasons, so it was no wonder they were pissed off at his remarks at his last press conference.

Although neither had Simmo. Schofield did apprentice under a great coach (Simmo) just like Simmo apprenticed under a great coach (Clarko)
@@ilikegamesandtech6712 the guy won 04 flag with port against voss's lions as a inside mid, he retires and wins three peet flags with Subiaco in the wafl, he coaches Subiaco to three flags, he go's and assist coach's at port Adelaide and they spend most of the year at the top of the ladder the guy nos how to win a flag but the difference in my opinion is like chris fagan at Brisbane who also had success in minor leagues they can find the diamonds in the rough simmo just lost that because he gained favourites and just wouldn't play guys on there merit the last few years or wouldn't swift the game plan to suit!!!! just my opinion!!! ya look at the swans when longmire took over from roo's he was always there but took them straight to a flag because he new the list and could see the team from a different prospective!!! schofield is famous for being ruthless towards guys performing!!!! and that's something west coast been missing for awhile!!!
