You ask tough questions. Some cameras allow you to record both the individual shots as well as create a movie from them. That is what I prefer. The WG-3 treats the single shot mode different than the movie mode of timelapse. Instead of selecting from 1 to 1000 shots in movie mode you can only select a time interval of 1,5,20, 30 minutes or 1 hour. Also because you select an interval not the number of shots you then select the duration (Total Time) in movie mode. It you select 1 min intervals, then you can select up to 3 hours recording time. If you select 5 min intervals, then you can select up to 30 hours recording time. If you select 10 min intervals, then you can select up to 60 hours. If you select 30 min intervals, then you can select up to 180 hours recording time. Lastly if you select 1 hr intervals, then you can record for 360 hours (15 days). Hope your battery lasts!
@@MrKayFisherdoes it only charge the battery by taking it out or can you plug in in a cord direct to camera? also, u said wg-3 in this post. But ur title is wg-2. Is this the 2 or 3? Do both of them have the same features? Thanks
It is a WG II. You can only charge the battery by removing it from the camera and using an external charger. I don't know about the WG3. Perhaps a review in dpreview.com or an online search for the manual will answer that question.
Thanks for the video. That’s an amazing camera. From 2012!
i just bought mine (secondhand) and this video is really helpful! thank you!
Very cool. They are amazing cameras. Can't tell you how many times I have put mine on a tripod on the roof of the house to watch storms come in.
Do you prefer the 1000 pictures normal mode or movie mode?

How do I get the pictures to my computer
Take the SD card out of the camera and put it in your computer.
