I remember someone from Triad company coming by my childhood home to sell one of these. I think what made it an interesting camera is that its appearance was space-age. We didn't buy one. I was the camera nerd of the house and actually my dad did photography during the 1920s with a Kodak 122 camera that took postcard-sized photos. We were not subject to the "wow factor" on this camera!
Interesting video. It is amazing that they charged so much for this heap of junk. But it's also even more amazing that people purchased it! Also, not sure it's pronounced Triad as its actually spelt Traid. So I am thinking it's probably more like TRAYED or something weird like that.
