This is actually one of the last Wing grunts I ever would have asked for. A Taurus, Virgo or Serpent would be way higher priority for me personally, but this kit does seem pretty nice and ultimately I appreciate ANY new additions to the HGAC line.
With a 36 pack, and a bunch of Leos , that would be one awesome diorama. Imagine the Darth Vader leading an army of storm trooper art, just replace the Imperial forces with Magnanacs.

the shoulder stickers are honestly not THAT bad on this kit considering they go on perfectly flat surfaces. i recommend cutting each of them along the black lines rather than leaving them as single pieces.

Haven't touched gunpla since the 90s and the Maganac is the first since then. Partially since they're dirt cheap, but also based on this review. What grade of sandpaper is used for nub grinding? The amount of info on gunpla building I've gathered from these vids and the comments is astounding, but there are a few holes. UPDATE: Went well. The only thing that bothers me were a few minor screw ups on my part and the right hip being REALLY lose on my kit. Left leg is fine so it's pretty clearly a random defect. Also I felt like Mr. Krabs, attempting to assemble this tiny kit with my big *M E A T Y* CLAWS (fingers).
I dont think you can really complain to much for the shoulders cause you gotta wonder if they did how brittle or easy would stress marks appear on it ? Although I do wish they included one open palm hand
its rifle not a beam weapon its a ballistic weapon from what i remember. because it a mass production and the generator wont be able to support a beam rifle

Hardgraph was Bandai going after the military modelers, the 40 Magananac set is Bandai going after wargamers (the Warhammer 40k type not World of Tanks). Too bad I can't even afford 40 FG Zakus much less this P-Bandai stuff.
bought a platoon (5) I painted mine in a different camo variants it actually looks pretty badass in camo colors not gonna lie. (water, fall/fire, and urban digital camo look the nicest) albeit I physically painted the eye with neon paint it looks better that way. Also I'd suggest filing down the nubs at the joints to prevent stability issues. for the weapons I'd suggest applying silver/gun metal for details and copper for wires or trim it'll give the guns a more realistic feel. I did have enough extra parts from previous sets to build a 6th one but since it's heavily modified I want to try painting it in the red comet colors anyone have any advice feel free to pass it along I don't mind the assist.
The claw is in one of the two P-Bandai variant kits: the Auda Custom and Ahmad Custom set. You can actually cut the two long fingers apart and have each finger individually articulated.

These super simple build designs seem like they would be great for RE/100 kits, especially with wing suits being smaller

Master Asia actually that isn’t a random defect, because my hgac maganac has a very loose right leg that likes to fall off as well.
Wondering with this release if we gonna get the Oliphant model as well.
Does this hold together better than the Leo? I have the Build Divers version of Leo and while it looks cool the thing falls apart too easy.

The little slot in the helmet made me think it was designed like an EVA unit with a bit of fetal alcohol syndrome sprinkled in to taste.
