Something that stands out for me in this song that no one seems to look further into is the line: "if I get killed for this rap, I got a million in cash, that says I will get you back in Hayleys name.
For me, this is one of Ems hardest lines ever. And is one of a handful of times eminem has said something that I believe has a DEAD serious truth to it that is meant to silence his opponent instantly. I fully believe he was concerned that someone would actually kill him over this shit and literally had a million in cash in a briefcase with orders to someone to take it and kill whoever pulled the trigger.
The line in killshot about Diddy putting the hit out that got pac killed is another example. That one line carries so much weight and was meant to get diddys attention to shut mgk the fuck up.
This is the power eminem has that a lot of people either over look, or just don't see. He has such a way with words and delivery that if he wants you gone.. your gone.

Which makes sense as well. That ABBA poetry from the greatest poets in history didn't even try the multisyllabic rhymes. Even Shakespeare focused on the past syllable, sometimes in a word with more than one syllable. Most of the great poems we had to learn in school were AABA, trying to teach Eminem would be like, ok "He starts with an ABAB, then keeps the AB but adds in a quick CC then goes back and repeats ABCC, ABCC three times and adds in a D and the second half of the stanza is ABCC, ABCDDC, ABCDDCCABCC, then adds internal schemes while keeping the external emphasized scheme, ABBACDDEEEEABBACCDDEEEEABBA why am I trying to put Eminem's rhyme scheme into a pentameter IS because it's the same thing genius level thing that Beethoven did when he took counterpoint to an entirely new level than anyone before him.
Mozart was the catchy Beach Boys of classical, and Beethoven was the Eminem of classical, but Mozart was 10 years old when he composed songs that literally put Salieri into a mental institution. Beethoven and Vivaldi, who only played the violin did things that were talked about the way we talk about Eminem today when we try to quantify his music into a mathematical science which it can be, but each song is different so what's the point.. If you wanna be a brilliant lyricist and rapper then it's a very good idea to study everything Eminem has done, to see how he grew into a master lyricist.. if there was a Dark Souls game about lyrical brilliance, Eminem would be the final boss that you can't beat, but only be allowed to proceed for showing you worked as hard as he did cause working harder is impossible cause he's still working and growing..
One of Eminem's most underrated qualities is his ability to take aim at himself...call himself a hypocrite, admit his wrongs, etc .. I think that is super rare in rap

However, ever since I subscribed to your channel, I have come to appreciate Em’s creativity as an artist thanks to your breakdowns. You’ll appreciate that English is not a first language in our country although very widely taught, spoken and understood - however, that’s more the Queen’s English. Also you are a huge help in explaining all the pop culture references, styles, history and evolution of American hip hop which was otherwise lost on me. I have also seen your videos breaking down songs of Indian rappers and today, Indian hip hop has become mainstream music from being underground for so long. Thank you, love your videos. Your talent as an Independant rapper and your lyrical creativity is there for all to see. Your line at the end of the intro referring to the current generation stuffed with drugs but having no ‘substance’ - man that word play was fire 🔥!! Coming to this breakdown, it is the first time I am hearing this Benzino diss track and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. Em’s rhyming, cadence, beat, the music and harmony - in fact, the entire production somehow reminds me of all those Disney classic hits like “Arabian Nights” from Aladdin or “Poor Unfortunate Souls” from The Little Mermaid. Maybe that’s just me but this is so unlike Em’s signature stuff. I am absolutely digging this! 😄 Please keep up the good work - high five dude!

I really get what your saying how he cleverly wrote lyrics that completely flowed with the beat . Its the only song i was ever able to watch with lyrics for the first time and could rap continuously without a mistake that beat was very clever it was like i knew the track and the lyrics all along and still to this day every track I listen to by E it makes my eyes close my stomach dance and tears to fall I don't know what it is about him but listening to him for me feels like falling in Love 10 time over .
