This is just like when we explored the aftermath of the fires near where we live in south Sydney. So beautiful but also sad. It was interesting to see the germination of seeds in the leaf cover that I've learnt about in science actually happen though. Good to see that one day the forest will be back to its green self if arsonists don't do a little trolling again ):

Are eucalipts native to Australia or are they, like in Portugal, an invasive specie that is basically taking over most forests due to its rapid growth and the fact that that's the best tree for the wood industry
