Haha, yeah, Yakushima's weather is crazy. When I was driving around there I had the same experience. One second it looked like the end of the world, next second the sun was shinging. But it was a great opportunity to film lots of nice rainbows. ;)

Having been to Japan and having been to Yakushima, I can say that the beautiful shots, music, and amount of time and effort put into this, is the closest thing to actually going there. This has to be my favorite video by you guys.

Yakushima is NOT the setting of Princess Mononoke. The real setting is the Chugoku region of mainland Japan. They just used the scenery of the virgin forest in Yakushima as reference to make the anime.
