My friend has this saw and yes, the chain is terrible. When he replaced it with a stihl made chain the saw cut a lot better. Also it is advised that you do a muffler mod on this one.
@@trailsideMTB As for the chain, the best one I can recommend for chainsaws of this size and purpose (branches and not very thick wood) is Oregon 91VXL (3/8" low profile, 1,3 mm). It has a semi-chisel tooth and is better than a full chisel because the saw does not have enough power to use its advantages (unless the wood is very, very soft). And the price is relatively reasonable. As for the muffler, I noticed that for about a year they have been giving lower power to these chainsaws (all Zenoah G2500 clones). It was about 900W, and now 700W. I guess they put the catalytic converter in the muffler. Hence the difference.
Hi guys well I can say the chain that came with my saw is absolutely brilliant I've been cutting all sorts of wood with it and it's still great I haven't needed to sharpen it yet.
@@aaronozjaszowiczszechter9665sorry to bother you , do you know what length chain for this saw ? I'm trying order a few online as it takes to much time to travel to shops
@@DaveCon-k2mIt depends what length is your bar? For top handle chainsaw it is usually 10" (25 cm) or 12" (30 cm). As I see in manual for this saw (on lidl service) they written two lengths - from end to end and effective cutting length. There are some info about chain. And it is chain for 10" bar - it has 40 drive links what mean it has 20 teeth (10 lefts and 10 rights). So in your order you should choose model/type (ex. Oregon doesn't have full chisel type in this size but they have 3 semi or micro chisels for different users preferences; I prefer more aggressive VXL); pitch - 3/8 LP; drive link thickness - ≤ 1,3 mm; length - 40 DL
Was that chainsaw oil that you put into the oil reservoir.
No safety wear present anywhere!
Are you sure you put on the chain in the right direction? It seems it was wrong or it is absolutely blunt.

τραβας το κορδονι με πατημενο το γκαζι για να παρει μπροστα?
Zero PPE. You're an accident waiting to happen... Chainsaws can kill.
Protective pants?
