Yeah he probably started watching content in English at a very young age, and it clicked.
多跟外國人交談你會發現他們用的詞彙單次跟語法真的很簡單 一點也不難~
甚至亞洲教育下的美語或英語程度遠超過於他們本國人母語程度
當然剛與外國人接觸交流你會發現自己腦袋空白是因為我們的環境本就不是他們的母語~需要在大腦思考轉換~加上不熟悉外國人的語速
多攀談幾次你會發現滿多外國人很愛講幹話~就跟亞洲人一樣~熟悉了雙方語速跟理解能力交流起來外語能力絕對是大幅度提升

Well no, but my parents both majored in English and started teaching me at a young age. Fun fact about myself, the first English word I have ever learned is "concrete mixer", because we used to take taxi cabs around the city all the time and we passed a lot of those big concrete trucks lmao.

@@VanderXanderbilt I know someone from my uni(I already dropped out of it) who is also from Beijing and his mom is an English teacher. Quite similar to you, his mom started teaching him English when he was a toddler or something. And he is soo good at oral English like as good as you. I was impressed by him in the first class in uni when the teacher asked him to answer questions in English. Anyway you spoke English quite well and naturally in the video and you just reminded me of him. I actually kinda wanna get to know you cuz I were in the same boat as you last year. Last year, I was also a senior preparing for the Gaokao exam I was not in Beijing though.
Most of their parents hire foreign English teachers online.

第二個男仔口音／說話做到母語水平， 真的相當優秀，但似乎是個別例子，佢同學唔敢講英文調頭走，訪問香港學生唔會咁。第一個女仔的英語水平是香港比較頂尖學校小學生或者普通英文中學中三四的英語水平，香港第一組別直私／英中就高小初中也有學生有這水平，但她已是頂尖學校的高中生的話，即國內普遍學生英文水平比香港低三／四年以上……不過國內的中文水平及數理水平的確平均比香港好，希望中港學生互相取長補短，共同進步，在世界舞台發光發亮
香港的语言环境会更好，国内虽然有大城市，但国际化和开放程度和香港还是比不了😂
那香港人的英文普遍很好耶...
I think it would be interesting to go to an elite high school in Washington DC and try to have a conversation w the students there in Spanish, French or German. The 2nd guy’s English is definitely impressive, 1st girl was a bit shy, but still, her English is definitely better than a lot of the high schoolers in china. But again, you are interviewing students at the best hs in the capital of china. If you go to some rural place in china and interview the students there in English, things will probably be very different.
The 1st girl is terrific in speaking English, good luck for your future, I am sure you will have a brilliant future.

@@hayabusa1329Don't worry about him. Although TH-cam is not accessible in China, Chinese people are smart enough to find various ways to see and understand the outside world. However, in some countries and regions, despite having fewer restrictions, they can only see the world their government or capital wants them to see. So, foolish people are foolish wherever they are, and moving to another country doesn't make them any less foolish.
@@hayabusa1329 It's true, he broke Chinese law by accessing youtube illegally, and admitted it on video. That's why he hesitate a bit before admitting he accessed youtube.
I can almost ensure that chose Chinese kids know the west 100 times more than the west knows about China. This is quite ironic given that China does have some levels of censorship while the west has been considered to have more freedom at least in media. 😂

综合素质的话，北京的人大附中和四中确实牛逼，是顶尖的，不过考虑到高考难度，纯应试的话应该江苏湖北的顶尖高中应试更牛逼，像华师一附中这些

上海的國中更恐怖，之前有外國人訪問上海外語學院附中國中部，每個都是多國語言精通怪。英語比很多美國孩子還厲害，因為那些孩子閱讀的比較多，懂得用高水準詞彙!!!孩子也都是沒有去國外住過!!
现在的中产教育真的太卷了，从很小都是直接进小班英语教学 。很明显感觉到我这一代95后 跟新一代的05后他们教育上的认识真的不同 ... 更懂自己要什么
语言学在好也没用，语言如果不是用在有用处的地方，对于大部分人来说，随便会交流就够了，不然就是浪费时间。。。

我来自上海，周围会几国语言的小朋友确实不少，好些个不输native，我儿子，从小看外语书，影片，与外教1v1，大量的输入输出确实有效

中国精英学校，都是非富即贵的家庭。教育是很看重的,小孩子从小各种培训出国旅游.尤其经济发达的区域

目光瞄准清北的人，是不会关心985和211的。比如我大学是上海交通大学的，我们大部分同学是不知道985和211是啥意思（非常具体的定义），或者说交大的学生是不会去关心985211的。跟人介绍只会说我们是交大，默认大家知道交大是什么（至少在上海）。那更不用谈北大和清华的学生（或者说立志目标北大的学生）了。
這小哥沒出過國 卻像native speaker, 而且講話時身體也有美國白人閒聊時 那種不由自主的晃動與手勢.
可能從小語言家教就是外國人, 或者其實待過國外
他的英语讲得比较地道，估计小时候在国外呆过。
不一定的 人大附中也有国际部和不少口语好的学生甚至外国学生和老师 要练口语是有很多机会的～而且暑假会组织去国外游学当然了要收费的～但是有天赋的同学完全可以靠校内资源和网络资源达到这个水平…亲身经历过这类怪物的碾压…不想多回忆 但是只能说这个学校从学生到老师校长牛鬼蛇神太多…化学老师闲的把英语卷子讲了，数学老师说物理老师上节课写在黑板上的解法复杂了之类的事情常有发生…

我也是20多年前人大附毕业的，高考英语97分。。。🤣
Gaokao in Beijing is definitely easier - not in the sense of the exam content itself, but colleges, elite ones especially, give so many more spots to students from Beijing.
Just look at them and you may have a feeling that the world is not as bad as you felt, right? Food for you, the youth.
We are earning the food by ourselves, we try to establish better world by ourselves. If you want us well, don't use the policitic rules to stigma us and visiting our country, we will very welcome you traveling our country and don't want to use the money to de Chinese culture, we are Chinese, you are around of our identity.

She is quite fluent for a Chinese high school student. She didn't have the typical accent, and in fact she is quite fluent; except has some issues with article use. Many Chinese learners topically have problem distinguishing the correct use of "the" and "a ". I would put her in the "good" category.

我2004年秋天到2005年春天在新东方教了大半年英文口语，每一个班都有一两个英文特别好，特别害羞，说话特别紧张的女僧哈哈哈

Haha! There were 1-2 rude comments to my first reply which was not mean or offensive at all. But I don’t know why people (well, Mainlanders I suppose) took it the bad way! So if they give shxt to others, they should be able to handle shxt themselves. Also, the two users don’t have real profiles. Why should I care!
There’s nothing wrong with the second guy speaking near native/very fluent English in China. Actually good for him - I just don’t buy it if he said he hasn’t studied English in an English environment, trying to illustrate a picture that Mainlanders in elite schools all speak like that. I was in China for so long (even at one of the best uni there and no way I have heard mainland students speak and use those vocabs! So I think either the guy was not giving the true story or the editors were illustrating a wrong picture. The first girl made more sense! 我沒有理由找－個ABC 或在國際學校念書的學生說 “對呀，我們所有國內精英學生都拿說近地道英文!” Because obviously reality is not!

人大附高中生一年补习费得20w人民币
都是硕士博士，名校的，而且并不是现在是这样，而是20年前我在上高中的时候已经是这个样子了，老师的薪水并没有离谱的很高，但比一般的工作的确要高一些
其实第二个男生的英语水平吧，在大学英语专业有很多人都能做到，(因为我本人就是某985英专生)基本上也都接受的是应试教育，不过高中说成这样真的很impressive了……但是他一看就是很喜欢英语流行文化之类的类型，才能说得这么chill哈哈哈，我有个很好的朋友就是这样的……我自己就不行了，我口语就很刻板，所以我去研究英国文学了🌚🌚🌚虽然听起来很没前途但是我从小对文学就是真爱
应该也就限于985学校的英语专业了，全国也就1000人上下

The first female classmate interviewed probably has a habit of pulling her hair when she is nervous, because she really doesn’t have much hair on her forehead. She looks a bit like a person from the Qing Dynasty. I hope her friends and family who know her can talk to her and change it. this habit.

北京有钱的父母太多，请得起外国人一对一练， 所以高考英语不考listening and speaking 对条件一般的家庭不公平
