watched your vids for tips about getting into my clinical mental health counseling program. i got in, & starting in the spring ! congrats on your achievements as well.
So interesting how the LPCC requirements are very different in FL and CA. Currently APPC and need 3,000 hours Been following your journey since your 1st year in University for Counseling. Thank you for all the great advice
Online. We had residency in person 2 times a year for a weekend but that’s it. Online is the way to go for most grad students. There would be too many things to lecture on. We had a discussion board each week per class and some other thing to do. Not a lot of papers. It was not bad, I can’t say it was hard. The time commitment was the hard part for the internship part. I could imagine going on campus for classes, going to internship, working and having a life … that would be a lot
The masters program you need every part of it. About a year and a half if classes after that you have less classes and internship. The bachelors degree for me was also important because it taught be how to balance school work and prepped me for the higher level of learning on the masters level.
And CONGRATS to you 😊
Thank you

Sounds good :)

Having successfully gone through the training... how much training do you feel like needed and how much is just a money grab from the college?

Where did you graduate from?
A private University in Florida I don’t share the name
