The person you play as in Ultimate Custom Night is actually William. The whole premise of that game is essentially William being punished for everything that he’s done by Cassidy, one of the spirits possessing golden Freddy, and who is one of the missing children.

@@xHavkiDoesn’t make sense at all. Why would the puppet be no longer scared of michael? Why would various animatronics claim to be the ones to haunt him this time if it wasn’t William? There is absolutely 0% chance that its not William.
@@xHavki Michael has been doing nothing but good to help the spirits. All his life, he's been trying to get rid of the guilt he has of accidentally k*lling his younger brother from a prank that went too far.
Why on earth would they want to punish the man who's been helping them?
William is the one who hurt them, and the one who k*lled all the children.
@@xHavki I mean no it's out right implied to be William. There's an easter egg in UCN in which Old Man Consequences will tell Cassidy to "rest his own soul and leave the demon to his demons" obviously talking about William, there's also another easter egg in which you can hear William screaming out for Michael to come save him.
Fun Fact: if you close the game in the middle of one of Mr. Hippo's speeches, when you open the game back up, instead of going to the character screen, it goes straight to him rambling from the beginning again.

At least is usefull for the Achievement/Trophy which requires to hear them all. When you close the game the speach change.

The reason Toy Freddy talks about a game being rigged is because his mechanic is him playing a mini version of FNAF in a room on his own. If you don't help him survive it, he comes and kills you.
And the best part is that the animatronic that jumpscares him is Mr Hugs, aka the vacuum cleaner animatronic, they should have had Cratey McCraterson too

Mr. Hippos stories are actually kinda relaxing to the point where I forgot I was playing a fnaf game
Actually UCN is very important to the lore, a lot of the voicelines gave important lore answers, but the story of the game is also crucial. The quick summary is that after the FNAF 6 fire, Cassidy, one of the spirits inside Golden Freddy and one of the victims of the first missing children incident wanted revenge on William and wasn't satisfied just letting him die so they attached themselves to William and kept him alive in a coma-like state, giving him a never ending nightmare which is what the gameplay of UCN is. We play as William being tormented for eternity by the vengeful spirit of one of his victims
Yes and also Cassidy was helped by Andrew, another kid k1lled by William who first apparence is in the story of the Fazbear Fright called Fetch and continued to appear in the epilogues of the Fazbear Fright
Sadly William escaped the never ending nightmare because of the help of the priest Arthur in the story called Man In The Room 1820 😔‼
@@HassenOsnel I thought William escape/gained a new foem through the circuit boards back in Help Wanted. Although, I exactly don't know who brought those corrupted circuit boards in the first place. I initially thought it's just Fazbear Entertainment just cutting corners again but maybe someone did want to bring William Afton back before he digital posseses Vanessa.

2:54 Toy Chica's first & third lines are actually a call back to FNAF world, where she repeatedly says in a high pitched nasal tone, "You won't get tired of my voice will you?" It's one of the best parts of the game. Well that and Chica's magic rainbow.

I like how they figured out who the one you shouldn’t have killed was so quickly, but didn’t realize that the player is William in this game, even though they realized all the animatronics sound like they’re talking to William.

Listen carefully to what most of the animatronics are saying. The things they say to describe the character you play as in this game, it sounds very… personal… please take that deeply into account, Weeby. It’ll make a lot more sense once you realize what’s happening.
Every other comment is saying who the player is, might be a little too late for hints on this one
The UCN lines are really a rollercoaster of emotions...
Not only does each character's personality shine, so from one animatronic to another, it's expected to vary a lot, but even from one _line_ to another, you can have something completely different.
One minute you've got a pirate saying he likes you, the next minute you have a monster talking about tearing you apart endlessly.
And if a majority of those lines aren't lore important to the lore, this isn't FNAF.
By the way, UCN isn't really scary, you might panic a bit, but being scared, not really.
You get desensitized really fast to everything in this game.

@@HassenOsnel Golden Freddy has only one spirit: Cassidy, AKA, The One You Shouldn't Have Killed. the Crying Child was killed accidentally by Michael back in 83, years before the Missing Children Incident. And Andrew isn't a character from the games, so he ain't canon.

quick explanation from a nerd here: this game takes place in the lore, but not a huge part. after william afton dies, this is his purgatory so we are playing as him in this game. that’s also where the "one you shouldn’t have killed" comes from.
The game is not canon, but the voicelines could mean something, also since when did william afton die, or when was he confirmed dead, molten freddy is still alive and still exists who says william is dead?

Nightmarrione’s voice is so cool and scary not wha I expected. Hearing the puppets voice being Charlotte is really nice hearing that the fnaf gang are like animals but she is fully in control. The mediocre Melodie’s definitely wasn’t expecting to hear the one you shouldn’t have killed aka golden Freddy voice whenever they talk seriously. Nice to also get confirmation the nightmare animatronics were illusions but now are real to punish Willam afton in hell. Chica being the first victim was very interesting.
You know, I actually enjoy Mr. Hippo's stories. I actually learned a few things from his stories funny enough. Also Mr. Hippo and Orville are so cute in these stories, their friendship is just the sweetest thing.
Your not playing as Michael but William, stuck in perpetual torture and dying again and *again* and *AGAIN* forever, all controlled by "the one you should not have killed".
A lot of the lines make more sense when you realize your William and not Michael.
It's simply hard to choose who has the best lines, Nightmare Fredbear, *Nightmare,* and Nightmarionne are all really dark and gritty, Mangle is fantastic combining that static into the lines, and Mister Hippo is just funny and that first line is definitely towards MatPat.
However my favorite is the introverted show(wo)man Funtime Foxy with her announcer voice but he was already my favorite animatronic so favoritism may cloud my choice.
Note: you were talking about lolbit which looks identical to F.Foxy but is orange instead of pink with black eyes and white dots.

As for some of the FNAF 4 animatronics you weren’t sure if you recognised, they came from a specific Halloween update

Don't worry about not completing the game 100%, most people don't do it due to the extreme difficulty and heavy luck involved in the hardest mode. For getting high scores I recommend just choosing the animatronics you feel most confident dealing with, and add around 5 more after each victory. Not all of them can kill you, so that helps. There's certain strategies/mechanics that the game doesn't explain to you as well, so I recommend looking at guides if later on you wanna play off camera
Also, some of the animatronics, like Happy Frog and Nedd Bear, when they have the serious voice line, theres actually another voice talking under them. It might be hard to pick up, but its definitely there.
The Hippo's story about Orville the elephant reminds me of this game called Henry Stickmin. There was a playthrough I was watching, and in part 65 he got to this room with a tank. Now, the way Henry Stickmin works is that whenever you run into an obstacle or opportunity, you're given a set of varyingly absurd choices for how to get past the obstacle, and for the tank, one of those choices is a walkthrough, and if you pick that one, Henry will open up a walkthrough where this bored sounding guy's like:
"Hey, welcome back to part 65 of my Henry Stickmin playthrough, walkthrough..."

The reason that chica says “ I was the first. I have seen everything!” Is because she was the first killed out of the 5 children murdered not including Charlotte so therefor she saw all her friends be lured back to the parts and service room after she was killed
i have adhd, which often causes me to get distracted, but i literally watched the entire video without getting bored or clicking off! i am 100% subscribing.

An obvious hint at the fact you are not playing as Michael is that all of the animatronics are present, even ones which canonically couldn’t even be there like the original ones (they were destroyed as seen in the FNAF3 minigames and their souls were put to rest). This is obviously a scenario that is happening outside of the real earthly realm.
Still one of the greatest lines scott has made. "Greetings from the fire and from the one you should not have killed" sheesh
Mr. Hippos lines are even funnier when they catch you by suprise after a jumpscare and a tense night. sort of a shame you didnt experience them blind in the game first, but i guess its good that you experienced it at all
The best part of Mr. Hippo's stories is that you literally can't escape them. You can't skip them, and if you turn off the game then it will just restart the story from the beginning when you reopen the game. The guy is such a troll.

After this, I'd highly recommend watching Game Theory's video "We solved Golden Freddy" to understand who "The One You Should Not Have Killed" is. Then, I'd recommend reacting to the TH-cam FNAF fanseries "The Interviewed" by J Gems. It's a really cool narrative with it's own story that I would love to see your take on.

-Behind the more menacing lines from the Mediocre Melodies, you can hear a whispering child's voice. This is the Vengeful Spirit, A.K.A. "The one you should not have killed." They are the individual who has created UCN, a hellish nightmare gauntlet of nearly every animatronic in FNAF history up to that point.
-There are still debates as to who this may be, but the generally agreed-upon answer is that it's Cassidy: the spirit of Golden Freddy who was killed with the other main four animatronics.
-Mr. Hippo is an old, old man. He simply rambles on and on about his stories after you die to him. You can't skip through them. If you try and close the game on one of them, re-opening the game will simply return you to his story. I like him :)

-Rockstar Chica's mechanic involves moving a wet floor sign to whichever door she appears at, hence her references towards the sign.
-Rockstar Foxy is one of your few allies in this game. If you click on his parrot, he'll appear and provide you a multitude of helpful options. However, there are rare chances where he will instead kill you.
-Lefty's only lines are small whispers. This is in reference to the fact that their only voice line in Pizza Sim was a simple "Shhhhh...", which is how they start each and every line.
The line of this game are.. mixed. They are weird, funny and creepy
So if you listen to the voice lines of the Mediocre Melodies when they take a dark turn you can hear whispers echoing what they’re saying. That’s Cassidy speaking to William (which is you) through the animatronics.

2 things: Firstly, you play as William Afton in UCN and withered chicas voice line, “I was the first. I have seen everything.” Wasn’t referring to the fact that they are old, it’s referring to the fact that Susie died before anyone else did in the lore.
2:35 context for Toy Freddy’s Voice Lines, his mechanic is basically that you have to play a second smaller game of five nights at Freddy’s for him because “his fat plastic fingers can’t press the buttons” and the game is called Five Nights at Mr Hugs hence the beef. Also yes this makes Toy Freddy canonically a gamer

I find it funny that for everyone else if the animatronic talks nice it basically just cuts to Cassidy talking through the animatronic like “that’s enough nice stuff” but for mr hippo Cassidy does nothing to stop his rambling or cant do anything to stop it
You’ll probably find out more once you watch a lore video for UCN, but yes it is actually important to the lore. All I’ll say is we’re actually playing as William who is in this purgatory of hell being killed over and over again as punishment by Golden Freddy(Cassidy a.k.a the one you should not have killed).
Also fun fact! Nightmarionne is voiced by Alek Le, who is the voice of Vivia Twilight in Raincode.
After you actually play UCN, you should watch MatPats 2018 timeline video. It's weird yet believable given this series that MatPat has made three versions of the timeline because it just keeps getting more and more complex

Something kinda fun about Mangle’s voice if listen to it you can hear it’s made of both a male and female voice which is a reference to the classic theory of what really was Mangle’s gender
The game is really important to lore, since it's a sort of "epilogue" to the original games.
In short terms:
Golden Freddy (The one he shouldn't have killed) Spawn-trapped William Afton after FNaF6, forcing him into a personal hell using the personalities of his creations.
The UCN lore is basically
After the FFPS fire, which was started by Henry intended to set everyones souls free, Cassidy (the soul of GFred) thought that death was too good for William, after everything hes done. So Cassidy creates this personal hell for Will, using characters from Wills past (including himself, 2 times) to torment him, and when he dies, he is brought back to redo it again forever. Cassidy even brought characters that were possessed, but whether those are the real possessed ones or not is unclear, because the original MCI souls was set free in FNaF 3. Cassidy uses the animatronics Happy Frog, Nedbear, and Orville to communicate to William, saying that he will never leave. There is an ending for this game, but im not sure if its canon or not. If you select only Old Man Consequences at AI 1 and catch his fish when he appears, he get sent to this black and red minigame area, seemingly playing as GF. This area is surrounded with trees, with a lake in the middle that Old Man Consequences is fishing out of. The audio that plays here, when sped up, sounds like William screaming for help from inside this hell. When you go up to OMC in the minigame, he talks to you. "Come and sit with me a while. Leave the demon to his demons. Rest your own soul. There is nothing else." After that, you can glitch into the lake and the game will crash. This seems to represent Cassidy giving up and leaving William to "his demons," and setting everyone free again.
The FNAF series as a whole: "I always come back!"

The strongest point of evidence for who you're playing as actually comes from some distorted audio in one of hidden parts of this game. I recommend taking a look at the 'Old man consequences' segment, it has a really cool easter egg.
Fun fact about Mr Hippo's Storytime it takes control of your monitor youre unable to tab out or escape it until its over.

For the mediocre melodies their last voice line is golden Freddy talking through them. So those creepy lines are golden Freddy talking
If you really want to theorize about Mr Hippo's last you could argue its referencing William's tragic life, or Michael's, or The Crying Child, or rrwlly just *every main character in the franchise* . "Sometimes i feel like life's a relentless endeavor to go against meaningless odds in order to meet a tragic fate. Regardless of your actuons". Ring a bell? William trying to have a happy life and family only to be constantly curb stomped by life (rival businesses potentially risking his own well being, his first son dying because his other son LITERALLY KILLED HIM, trying to scrape back the fragments of his life stolen away from him, leading to a downward spiral that would result in him going too far. And having his darkness take hold of his being and warp the former honest man who wanted to do something as noble as "make kids happy" into a murderer willing to blindly ignore the suffering of others to achidve what he believes was unfairly stolen from him.)
What about Michael? Imagine trying to finally get "revenge" on the kid who not only stole your parents love from you (or so you wrongly asume) and not only being so vengeful you ignore the obvious dangers (or maybe have to much faith in the stage animatronic's ability to hold people inside of it) and get your brother killed by accident. Imagine the parents love you missed so much turning into cold and bitter calculating determination and apathetic and miserable nothingness that eventually results in getting abandoned by the latter.
Imagine being a little kid whom is deftlt terrified to the point of an honest to god PHOBIA and getting killed after...what? Getting scorn thrown at you by the only other male in the house you can relate to. Only for the bow to be put on top to be MURDERED accidentally or not by that same sibling and fellow male housemate of closer age. Bleeding out in a hospital bed, your life stolen away from you, your brother's "apology" or "guilt" coming too little to late. Whilst your father, who works at that place you hate tries SO HARD to rip you back from the ether. To embrace gou in his loving arms, and to have that be your last perception of him until discovering him again many years later a completely different man from who raised you.
I could keep going with talking about Charlie and Henry to a far lesser extent. Even Elizabeth fits rather neatly. But yeah, its accurate, its easy to forgrt woth the bright colors and overly black and white perception on good and evil but this timelinw of these games is largely INCREDIBLY depressing.

UCN is actually important to the Lore. We play as William Afton (In case some people will disagree, I respect opinions, but everything points to William. Especially with "The One You Should Not Have Killed" and Nightmarrione's ""I-I-I am the fearful reflect-ection of what you have cr-crea-ated."and Nightmare's "I am your wickedness made of flesh". There are more lines pointing towards that like most Nightmare Fredbear's lines) in his personal hell, in which he is tortured by Cassidy, the vengeful spirit ("He" and "him" in Mangle's and Withered Chica's voice lines most probably refers to the fact she's the kid stuffed in Golden Freddy suit, and Freddy is male, a mistake on Scott's part, or the fact Cassidy is female was a retcon) who decided to not let these souls rest (I wonder if these souls get paid for killing William over and over again?)

The thing about Mr. Hippo that kind of pissed off the fandom at the time was that Scott was making fun of us for something HE established. He's the one that trained the fans to not dismiss ANYTHING because if you did you'd miss 3 orange pixels that tied together a mystery everyone dismissed as a simple design choice and ended up meaning Toy Chica's beak was missing when she attacked in FNAF2 because she was a literal toy and the entire franchise was just a kid's nightmares. He's mentioned several times that he made each new game to clarify mysteries and misunderstandings from previous games and that the books were a separate continuity but with some aspects being canon and vital to understanding the lore and history in the games so we should pay close attention.
He's even come into livestreams to cryptically announce the entire fandom had missed crucial details in the games and would lay out a trail of breadcrumbs to follow in the form of vague hints. He hid reveals and secret character conversations in webpage source codes and secret images that required brightening promotional material to reveal. He reveled in the theory crafting and mystery until his admitted lack of story planning caused the lore to be too convoluted to make sense and THEN he got annoyed with us for looking into every detail and not just "letting a story be a story".

he basically covers EVERYTHING in that four part series. The only thing that's controversial and proven wrong in those videos is the last video about fnaf vr and security breach. (Which to be fair, we dont know a lot about at the moment other than what's been shown and implied in the games.)
But yeah! He covers literatally EVERYTHING the background and foundation of fnaf, Afton and Henry, The Afton family and Aftons murdering spree and the whole story of every game and how it ties into the story, all the way up to the burning in fnaf 3 and pizza simulator is ultimately correct! Very very highly recommend reacting to!

I’m coming back to this video after a while and the fact that night marionette is voiced by Aleks Le will forever blow my mind because dude has range lmao (he’s pretty popular now but if you don’t know him he’s voiced characters like Zenitsu (demon slayer) Vivia in Rain code and ofc the protagonist from persona 3 reload as some examples which is really cool imo
The whisper in the background of some of the lines is the second spirit inside of golden Freddy Cassidy and she is using the other animatronics to speak to William who we play as telling him that she is the reason why he can’t stop all the animatronics from his past from Comming and killing him over and over again
Oh if you want to hear some really good Mangle voice lines, check out hers for the AR game. Both her and Toy Freddy’s lines I think are really good, with Toy Freddy’s feeling like a real personality instead of a joke like he is in UCN and Mangle showing how she actually works with the whole two head thing and it’s really cool
I was kind of hoping that she would play it a bit first but this is fine as well.

Also I have to say Withered Chica,Nightmare Freddy and Nightmare FredBear are my favorite voices of the whole game W. Chica’s echo with it N. Freddy’s Darth Vader voice and N. Fredbear’s having 2 voices at once and the best line “We know who our friends are………and you are not one of them”
It also be nice to see you play FNAF world now as much it doesn’t have as much close to anything like the other FNAF’s (since it’s a RPG) it still has very school secrets and interesting stuff unlike any other fnaf
PS: You ARE playing as Willian with some actual clues from the voice lines whole yes the line “The one you shouldn’t have killed” could mean of Micheal killing the crying child but Micheal is already dead in FNAF 6, We get more clues it’s Willian thanks to Nightmare FredBear and Ballora with Fredbear’s being “We know who our friends are………and you are not one of them” and “Let me out you back together and take you apart all over again” basically repeating what he said to Crying child but in a more menacing manner because Willian isn’t a friend to him Crying child and Mike are because Crying child is again “still his friend” and while Mike he’s killed him redid all of misdeeds of William and freed are the spirits and of course Ballora recognizes William by talking about how they’re back together somehow and as you mentioned her song calling William out and 37:10 , that isn’t too far off
