2nd thought. The base F Type V6 was 340HP in 2017, not the R. The R was a V8 550HP. The S was a V6 with 380HP. SVR was a V8 with 575HP. All supercharged.

The problems i know of mainly affects the earlier models like electronic issues and that had improved in the later models. I really love the V6 its just perfect for this car and it sounds amazing!

No rev limiter on this one mate, makes the car so much fun when you can rev it up to hear the V6 scream :)
@@POVMotors Ohh, I heard that when you wanted to rev a newer f-type (2017- and above) that it had a rev limiter (at 4000 rpm) when you wanted to rev the car in park mode (when the car is stationary)
@@Nick-MilanEvery F-type has a rev limiter. So does my 2016 R.

How tall are you? How is the fit?
Im 189 cm / 6”2, the fit is ok its not the best. The biggest issue is the roof where i needed to sit more on my back to not sit so high.
I’m considering to buy this car and this model… is there any big problems with it .. or it’s perfect? 😁.

It has a LOT of problems. Mostly electrical. The sub frame is also horrible, it is very prone to rust and you can get into serious accidents if you don't replace it. The back box for the active exhaust can easily get damaged and costs almost £3000 to replace (yes... REALLY that much), and the 3 litre V6 you see on this video will cost you around £300 a month to fuel it up, £300-400 for servicing with Jaguar for a year. There are your expenses. My general advice from owning one for a year is DO NOT BUY IT. It was not worth it.
It depends on what kind of model you buy, if you want a good model you will have to spend at least 50k or more, the models you can get for 30-40k often have problems.
@@fgcpeak9591 Only true for the early cars. R Dynamic 17 on are much more reliable. This car (340) runs at 30mpg average if you are sensible on a commute. I do 14 miles a day, there's no way I'm spending £300 a month, more like £140 at current prices. Here's my ride prior to purchase from Kellanhard.

I've got platinum warranty and fixed servicing with my contract, so no worries on cost. £39,000 all in with just 21k miles. All you have to do is sink a little more insurance into the car and you will be fine. Definitely not a car worth scrimping on.
