    My posture is bad because I have social anxiety so when I walk, I always face down at the ground to avoid eye contact 😔.

    I keep hunching my back due to thinking it's weird to be the taller person in class. I am full of regrets now. Sometimes i think confidence might help me back then

      it will. think of this: you are tall, you got certain physical advantages, bottom line. you naturally attract attention from your fellow humans, either neutral (oh, someone's taller than me. ok) or positive (wow, he's tall.......). it's gonna be bad mostly if you don't take responsibility for what you are, and that's true for any trait, simply because it shows. do you tell the truth, are you a decent person? so go grab what's yours, fight for your purpose, your height will help you even against some resistance you may find in your way. don't hide, or you will suffer. I've been 6"3' since I was fourteen, and took me forever to realize those things. It's all connected. Keep up 👊

    My posture has always been bad even when I was a child. I think it’s probably to late now to fix it because I am over 80 but I would like to improve my posture if there is any exercise that would help. I like this woman’s exercises better than any other exercises that I have seen. She gets right to the point and I appreciate that.

      In my mum's school days - way way back the girls used to have deportment classes, teaching good posture. In my day this was seen as a bit "fascist" (!) so I have slouched my way through life unfortunately.

    Something that I’ve found is rolling your shoulders back. I learned it in elementary school music class, and I’ve done it ever since. It really helps!

    Our school tables are so low and the chair is high. I get so much back pain and bad posture from sitting all day in school. I don’t know what to do.

      then my question to you is is it still a good posture? How do you know a good posture? People talk about posture as if one fits all, and there is only one correct posture, which is a problem. Subjective comfort is never accounted for the idea of "good posture" which is very problematic in my opinion. Good posture if truly good has to be comfortable and efficient and natural, so you feel like you are at home, feel easy. Babies don't think about all these things (good posture, bad posture). They move the way they feel. If they don't feel good, they adjust and find a way to move and sit more comfortably. As we get older, we lose touch with our own body, and ask others how we should move, which is very unnatural and funny if you think about it.

    For me, growing up a very tall computer nerd that was obese from ages 19-23 is not a good combo. Constantly looking down and constantly slumping. I’m about halfway to a healthy weight, but I’m focusing on getting that posture back, that double chin gone, and someday getting some muscle in place of the fat. This video is a very good start for addressing the posture

    When I was in elementary school, I grew taller than many of my classmates and developed horrible posture that only got worse as I got older. I took on habits that only worsened it (like sitting at the computer all day). I fell in love with rollerskating a few years ago and I know it's all over the place now and you may be sick of hearing about it but I find that skating (because it's such a workout for your lower back and core muscles) in combination with regular yoga was the only thing that truly ever helped my posture. I just have to get myself to start doing it all regularly again... lol

    I have really bad posture because as a small kid I liked to sit in front in class but I was always the tallest so I had to slouch so the other kids wouldn’t complain. Then when I moved to highschool I had to put a heavy bag on my back everyday so I’d/ still do lean forward so I don’t fall over.

    Wow. I'm a 73 year old lady and I have really bad posture. I realized I am developing a Dowagers hump. I started doing some of these exercises and using a posture corrector. I'm a little bit sore. I hope this helps.

    Ok, I ordered and just received this brace on your recommendation and through your link. I have a desk job and roll forward like crazy. I'm hoping with intermittent use of this brace I can make some improvements to the rounded shoulders and forward head posture I have developed.

    Could you make a vid about the “proper” posture while staring down at our phones all the time? I know it sounds kinda silly, but I feel like my posture got thrown off by being on my phone so much (a lot of it is for work so I can’t just not use my phone). My whole life I was a dancer with perfect posture but now I’m starting to feel some aches in my neck sometimes when I wake up. Do you have any tips on how to properly look down at your phone with the least stress possible to our head, neck shoulder area? I feel like I’m jutting my chin forward. Should I be stretching my neck more up as I look down and keep my chin tucked? IDK it’s really bothering me.

    Interesting, the hand clasp exercise behind the back made me realize how tight my right shoulder is. I felt how much tighter it is than the left shoulder. I had a cold shoulder that I move now to reach behind my back to the middle but it still doesn't feel as relaxed as the right side. I guess since then I've been sitting with poor posture and it doesn't help that I sit at my desk for a 10 hour working. Even with breaks and lunch . Thanks for your tips.

    I have mild Scoliosis so my grandma bought me a lumbar support I don't really use it a lot and I stopped doing the exercising and my back hurts more often now so am gonna go back to it to get my back fit💓😌

    Trying to get healthy again i was a long distance runner as well as 400 dash used to be super healthy I never thought I would ever let my self get to this point but what are you gonna do 🤷🏾‍♀️ I’m working on getting back my athletic build but I feel disappointed when I began running again my posture has completely went to trash and it’s impacting my speed and endurance it’s so heartbreaking how far I fell but using your tips I’m going to work on my posture thanks !!

    I had good posture before but it seems like am above the person? bc I'm tall (5'8) and the person will often be intimidated by my height so it made me want to hunch over so I don't scare them 😭 now since I'm in online school I don't have to worry too much, my neck is hurting so bad now as a consequence so I'm trying to get my good posture back haha, thanks for the video!

    I've always had problems with my posture and I'm even having problems doing these, it either hurts or I can't move my body like that. I have hypermobility syndrome aswell as fibrous dysplasia. Tried to find someone who can help me irl but most people don't really know how to help me. Might get that strap thing, I've noticed some improvements with wearing a corset but it only works when I'm wearing it.
    Sometimes I have so much backpain I'm lying on the floor crying.

    perfect video for a CG artist... I mostly sit on the chair for 9 hours....However, can you make a video only on resistance band exercise ??

      Then do it more so your body gets used to it. It's a journey, not a one time thing

    Dr. I do have a back pain for while and it really pains. Kindly advise on the kind of chairs I can sit on at the working place and the ones to avoid

      It depends on what your specific diagnosis is. Back pain could be coming from many things.
