I made this is was an absolute banga !! Made heaps ! And the flavour and texture is delightful - I added grated lemon zest to the spinach mix, and an extra layer of mozzarella half way through the assembly, and also a layer of thin sliced butternut pumpkin. It’s a winner mate !
🤯Thank You for an egg free spinach ricotta mixture!! I never tried cuz I was worried wouldn’t firm up. I wonder if it is your special ricotta that makes it possible? Its VERY different texture than regular supermarket ricotta.
@@double_e3825 I had lasagna for the whole week, it was soooo good. Just one critic. I did not like the oven ready noodles, the felt very hard. But the taste of the lasagna was amazing
@@1masivac thank you so much for replying:) I made some today and it was yummy 🤤I boiled my noodles because Ive never been a fan of the oven ready kind.
You’re supposed to show us your plate and take that first bite for your viewers …. I feel cheated. Otherwise this was a really good lasagna recipe and an excellent step by step demonstration of the how to process, along with a very detailed video of all the seasoning used to flavor your meat and the other ingredients, and how to pull it all together and prepare an awesome lasagna for your friends and family. I just wish you would have taken that ultimate money shot …. the very first scrumptious and delicious bite of the FINAL PRODUCT …. That’s all … thank you for sharing. I’ve never prepared lasagna with spinach, so I can’t wait to try. Thanks again! ❤️👍☺️
Oh my goodness! Does everyone dip into the tub of fresh ricotta? I thought it was me! I am making this today for a vegetarian main course for family- it’s Bank Holiday in England this weekend! Time to go full on Italian 👌👍🏻🤣😀
I am making spinach and ricotta lasagna for Christmas dinner. I just learned one of my guests avoids tomatoes! And dairy! I will use some of those non-dairy fake cheese and make a non-dairy bechamel sauce just for her. Oh, yeah, no spinach either. I harvested "miner's lettuce" (grows wild in California) to use as the greens. I will use some tofu as well. I'll let you know if it works.
I love to use roasted cauliflower florets instead of lasagna or even zucchini noodles. It's not noodles but Italian seasoning properly roasted cauliflower is pretty darn good
I made lasagna for the first time in my life and I used this recipe. Was really delicious ❤

Couldn't find any cannelloni tubes in the cupboard so I'm making this tonight instead. Looks like the same recipe I use but as a lasagne. Thank you

Did it worked?
You are so funny! More cheese, more love.
i have a question, how many ml or grams are tomato cans?
Love your humour and what a delicious dish!thank you
That looks really good! Could I add eggplant and zucchini to the sauce and layer ricota and cheese without spinach? Would it work?
instead of pasta you could use zucchini that is sliced really thin / /grill it to get out the excess water then put it on paper towels to drain/
