I have super oily skin and I LOVE this foundation. It’s so light weight. I wore it for about 12 hours and it really does a great job at not getting oily. I do set it though, I tried it without setting it and I didn’t like it as much. It’s a contender for my Texas summer wedding.

I have really dry skin and I wore it for two days straight and I actually liked it a lot. It did not settle on my forehead lines at all. That is why makeup is different for everyone. By the way, I am so excited for your full face of Too Faced video. 🥰
Age may also be a factor. I'm 51 dry skin. I wore different makeup & skincare in my 20s, then switched a few things in late 30s as some wrinkles start showing & then again about mid to late 40s.

Foundation is such a personal decision. I loved the Becca tintless “foundation” when so many others were like “what’s the purpose of this stuff?” Even though I’m almost 50, I have really smooth skin with an even skin tone, so that Becca product was all I needed.

I absolutely love the Face Bond. Foundation is the most subjective of all makeup products to review. Tati’s favourite (and many others) is the Nars light reflecting and that looks like a greasy mess on me. You can’t take personal tastes and preferences and individual skin types out of the equation. It’s like trying to review apples vs oranges to see which one is better.
Love this take. While Facebond is not a one size fit all there are ways to prep and prime to make it suitable for different skin types ex prepping with our ANSS Ultra Glow to hydrate and create a less matte finish 💜

I have aging oily/combo skin AND live in Texas. I may have to try this. My current fave, and fave for a long time, is the Laura Gellar Baked Balance and Brighten. So simple to apply and actually lasts on me with a good primer.
I have no more to dry skin and I live in Texas and so far I think the foundation is OK the issue I have doesn’t dry down by the mouth area and the nose so I did have to use a setting powder and I do not like the smell. I tried this, and really liked it. My cheeks are dry and t-zone can get oily. It was a very pretty finish and wore all day. Now, I didn’t wear a primer underneath, and didn’t need one. However, I ultimately landed on the Lawless foundation. It. Is. BEAUTIFUL!! I also picked up the Lawless moisturizer, and it’s definitely doing some good things with my skin. I suggest trying the Lawless foundation for everyone!

Before u get injections, I have been using the Peter Thomas Roth peptide injection moisturizer. I’m 50 and have a lot of fine lines. This foundation is great. I have combo skin and it doesn’t dry me out.
I appreciate this so much. I also tried that Maybelline skin tint that everyone else loved and it went straight into the donate bin. I had the same experience you did. It accentuated lines I didn't even know I had! You are the first person I have heard that had the same problem I did!!😊
Just asked my daughter if she has tried this, she is an Esthetian and makeup artist for Sephora. She said she tried this foundation yesterday and said she liked it, and she has oily skin, which seems to be the consensus, so you were spot on with that review. She and I were out together yesterday and I remember commenting on how pretty her makeup looked, not knowing is was this foundation. Love your honesty! I too have combo skin and bought during Sephora sale after seeing TH-camr juicy Jas trying it. Tried it and LOVED it! It lasted all day, looked great 15 hrs later, no powder. Also love your tip on color matching, I did Sephora’s color matching and was pleasantly surprised how close it go to my fave foundation.

If you like a little body tint, I highly recommend the sun bum glow 30. It’s meant for the face but I use it on my body and it gives the most beautiful glow and slight tint plus spf so it’s great for summer.

Tati, have you had these same issues with the RMS foundation? I have combo skin and been dealing with more dryness lately. I really wanted to love the RMS foundation but has been settling in all my lines and it ain’t doing me any favors 👵🏼lol I’m using their primer which I really love. Any suggestions for how to make this foundation work? Or is it time to move on?
Could you do a video on older pallets and finding new looks with them? I think it helped to get some reinspiration on stuff that we already have in our collections
I love this foundation. I do use a face oil with my moisturizer and this foundation makes my skin look flawless. I do set the under eye after concealer and in the areas that I bronze and blush. Chefs kiss.
Also love the review and how you went about it. I have this and I love it. This is the best shade match I've found and it doesn't break apart on me weird like most foundations do, especially the nose area. I do have lines, I'm oily, yet somehow this still works. I did like the nars you use but they don't quite have my shade. I have to adjust and that settles in my lines (just have to watch it during the day). Back to Face Bond- yeah I have to work very quickly before it sets. So this and Smashbox Always On are my top 2. Now all I have left is to see how Urban holds up to Houston humidity this summer.
I tried this out as well and had similar thoughts about it. Seems great for oily skin and also sorta works for me with dry skin but the same "off" parts mentioned stuck out to me. I also felt that I had to use more than I expected and also noticed I didn’t get my jawline as blended as I normally would with some of the others I’ve used.

It is very polarizing. I love it. I’m 37 and have small wrinkles and large pores. Skin prep makes a difference for me and I apply with a sponge. A brush makes it look cakey for me. Everything works different for different people. ❤

Question, would changing the products pre-foundation help the "dryness" or is it just not for your type of skin?

Tati, have you had these same issues with the RMS foundation? I have combo skin and been dealing with more dryness lately.
I really wanted to love the RMS foundation but has been settling in all my lines and it ain’t doing me any favors 👵🏼lol
I’m using their primer which I really love. Any suggestions for how to make this foundation work? Or is it time to move on?
Love that you always keep it real! As someone with mature dry skin, this obviously isn’t the foundation for me. But I do love other UD products!
Could you do a video on older pallets and finding new looks with them? I think it helped to get some reinspiration on stuff that we already have in our collections

I love this foundation. I do use a face oil with my moisturizer and this foundation makes my skin look flawless. I do set the under eye after concealer and in the areas that I bronze and blush. Chefs kiss.
Also love the review and how you went about it. I have this and I love it. This is the best shade match I've found and it doesn't break apart on me weird like most foundations do, especially the nose area. I do have lines, I'm oily, yet somehow this still works. I did like the nars you use but they don't quite have my shade. I have to adjust and that settles in my lines (just have to watch it during the day). Back to Face Bond- yeah I have to work very quickly before it sets. So this and Smashbox Always On are my top 2. Now all I have left is to see how Urban holds up to Houston humidity this summer.
I tried this out as well and had similar thoughts about it. Seems great for oily skin and also sorta works for me with dry skin but the same "off" parts mentioned stuck out to me. I also felt that I had to use more than I expected and also noticed I didn’t get my jawline as blended as I normally would with some of the others I’ve used.
What body makeup do you use? And how do you keep it from transferring?

It is very polarizing. I love it. I’m 37 and have small wrinkles and large pores. Skin prep makes a difference for me and I apply with a sponge. A brush makes it look cakey for me. Everything works different for different people. ❤
