Tbh, still prefer this over the 2019 performance. Not that this year's wasn't great. 2018 just had a clearer message and a simpler but more effective way to drive it home. And of course this is just a preference, but the Korean elements here worked more for me than the Greek. This is the performance that I'd like them to perform in the Grammys, and not 2019, because while 2019 is like a scattershot cannon of themes, 2018 is like a knife of their identity straight to your heart. 💜

This was BTS response to the media that accused them of being too westernized. BTS slapped them with probably the best cultural show an idol band had ever done on stage. They have done nothing but promote South Korea’s heritage and culture and their pride of being Koreans. Always.
