Good to see a conversion here in oz from start to finish. Will be doing the same at some point in the future I think. Have built a few e-bikes (including a crazy BMX with a 2000w hub motor), but this is next level.
That would all depend on how it was ridden. What mode it was in, how much downhill, also the regen settings selected. A bit like your mobile phone: if you’re on it all the time, have lots of apps open and have high screen brightness, your battery will deplete far quicker than someone else who doesn’t use it as much and has different settings. I have ridden the bike through mixed terrain with a few stops for 2:45 hours and after such time I had 50% battery remaining.
Hey there buddy! Congrats for this project, it is awesome! Im from Uruguay and sorry about my ignorance but how many time can you ride with a full battery load ?
Battery lasts about 45 minutes, or approx 70km. But this depends a little on the type of riding. For example: energy is put back into the battery when going down hill and off the throttle (regen)
sorry m8, thats gonna be bs build. Yes it will drive but it wont be any fun ride... if you want anything useful- get motor with switchable gearbox than it will be a thing. WONT WATCH FOLLOWUPS coz of bs build.
Great idea you have inspired me and my 14 years old son to do the same thanks

Nice build! Are those cockatoo sounds in the background?
Thanks! They’re magpies and crows. Plentiful in Australia, but nowhere near as noisy as our Kookaburras that often call at this time of year. 👍
Do you have drawings of mounting motor brackets? If yes can you send them somehow?
No
Would it make a 4 hour trail ride if turned down
That would all depend on how it was ridden. What mode it was in, how much downhill, also the regen settings selected.

@@wjp005 sounds good enough to me. I really appreciate your time! petrol here cost 1.90 / liter US dollars... should I buy one of this kit?
@@maxbosola9527 definitely! Can ride in places where noise creates issues too. Virtually silent. See my test ride video. 👍
@@maxbosola9527 petrol costs $2.40 per litre at the moment in Australia 🇦🇺
