One time I got a heavy residue/flaky result like that before with a different product line. Instead of re-washing...I just sectioned my hair into 8 sections, spritz each section with warm water to help rub/work in the product and add a little oil and it worked to get rid of the residue/flakes. Sitting under the dryer could have maybe helped too....maybe. Thanks for the demo.

Camille Rose has premium hair care products in my opinion.
I have 3c/4a high porosity hair.
The lavender and coconut collections works very well on my hair. The creamy lavender leave-in has quickly become my go to leave-in.
I also love the coconut collection.
I think she takes her time releasing products so that she’s releasing good quality products unlike Shea moisture who comes out with products every month and none of that crap works for my hair.

If I’m using new products or a new combo on wash day I’ll take a small section of hair cowash it and then do a twist or wash n go with the products I planning to try. Then I’ll use my revair or blow dryer to dry it quickly or let it dry overnight if I have time. I’ll even do that with my wash day products before I hop in the shower if they’re brand new.
I’m not in the use everything in your stash even if you’re hair hates it camp lol I’d rather return it or give it to someone in need that will appreciate it more.

She’s mentioned before that she prefers to style on damp hair. Which is cool, preference is preference. I always keep that in mind when I watch reviews because I only wet style. That alone gives me completely different results. I don’t need stylers at the moment because I’m experimenting with Mane Choice, but that DC is on my radar.

To give an honest review she should have styled on damp/dry and wet hair. Applying products to wet hair will definitely give you more slip, curl definition and the products will penetrate the hair strands better versus applying products to dry hair.
I don’t know why anyone would apply products to almost dry hair.

I understand, but everyone doesn’t have the same lifestyle when it comes to their hair. So people that have watched her channel already know how she’s gonna approach her product reviews. She’s already explained why she doesn’t wet style and it wouldn’t make sense to re-explain it every video.
This product review was given in the context of how she normally styles her hair. Hopefully there will be others that wet style who might try this line as well, and I’m sure it’ll make for an interesting comparison.

*Being 7 years Natural taught me everything I needed to know to slay my hair health. The relaxer eliminated all the issues I had being natural. Fairy knots, 5 hour detangling, shrinkage.. ALL GONE & I'm loving it!* 🌺

Wowwww it sucks that flaked so crazy on you! It would be more understandable if the hold was there and without the frizz!! But that cream straight up played you smh. 😕

Haven't heard good things about camille rose. There was no reason for your hair to flake like that.

That intro is really loud for headphones, compared to the sound of the rest of the video. Scared the bejeezus out of me.

Their prices never has bothered me. It’s about how much I pay for all my products. My favorite brand Adwoa is even more expensive
