The track is available on all your favorite streaming/download apps and we’ll be donating proceeds from this live recording to Thistle Farms, a Nashville-based nonprofit that heals, empowers and employs survivors of trafficking, prostitution and addiction.
You may like this outstanding piece by the Sant Andreu Jazz Band from Barcelona. Joan Chamorro (sax player in fedora) runs a music school for children and teenagers. They perform with a few obvious adult professionals but most of this group are older teenagers. The bass player is unbelievable in this. I'm not sure how old she is here, maybe 18-20? People are astounded by how she plays -- dozens of compliments in the comments to the video. Listening from Australia. My husband discovered this band through a local radio station while listening in his car. He wrote down the name of the band, came home and asked me to TH-cam it and we ended up watching this group on TH-cam on our TV for almost 2 hours. We love this band. Oh the harmony! It's marvellous! What great music!

And the kicker is the last month they played at my favorite music hall here in New Haven, literally 2 blocks from where I work. When I go to concerts there I just walk from my office. :( ugh I can't believe I missed them.
I was so fortunate to see I'm With Her this summer at the Lowell Summer Music Fest. Loved every song including this cover. Their vocals are so tight it's really hard to discern who is singing what ... Guess I will just have to put this on repeat until I figure it out! 😉
This tour had to be one of the best concerts I've ever seen. The way they kept switching the lineup for different songs felt so energetic and fun. And the harmonies! So many harmonies!
Hands down, this American Acoustic tour was the best performance I have seen yet. The ever-changing ensembles on stage elevated the music beyond the talent of each individual artist or pre-existing groups. Much love to these artists
I never heard these three together until thing morning. I caught "Overland" on a local college radio station and I was just like "good lord, who is this?!?!" WTF do we have to do to get these three women along with Gillian Welch, Emmylou Harris, and Allison Krauss all on the same beach? I'm not an old guy, but if I want to die, I would want to die from the sheer bliss of 6 sirens luring my boat into a cluster of rocks.

For some reason this video was a youtube advert.. I was hooked! Then I noted they were coming to play at my nearest city about 3 days later! Live they're so so good! I went with a sound engineer and he was astounded at how good they sounded. It's just 1 microphone, with all of them singing and playing guitar.. Not too shabby.

Okay, so, my theory is that the microphone is actual alien technology. Its picking up the three of them from a foot or so away AND that bass as well?! Hats off the the sound techs and engineer, truly amazing. I imagine it helps when the talent is that good, too :)
We saw these gals in Portland, Oregon a few weeks ago. We've been far-away fans up in Canada for awhile, but seeing them live at Revolution Hall in April was a fabulous experience! They are supremely talented, tight, (but not "overly" tight) and it's easy to see they all have a deep love of music, rhythm, and harmony. Oh, I hope they make it to British Columbia soon...
