I just bought a Sony a6500 and want to thank you for making your videos. I love the way you present them and you are clear with the points you want to make. THANK YOU!
Hello :-) Thank you for the great Video! Simple and not overloaded with details. Here some points for the interested viewer of you video. This is from the point of view of a people photographer: 1. Peaking Settings: I think it is worth to mention, that the camera technically doesn't show what is in focus, but over emphazise area of contrasts. That is important to know, since the photographer need to interprete those data. 2. AF spot S: If the spot is very small and you have a low contrast situation the camera might fail to nail the focus. That is due to the way how the contrast AF is working. 3. White balance: Sometimes it is even outside easier to use the Kelvin setting instead of AWB, since in post you can adjust all pictures at once. 4. Continuous Shooting Hi+: A small limitation in H+ is, that the subject is not displayed in real-time on the monitor or viewfinder when shooting in Continuous Shooting Hi+ mode.
You inspired me to learn my camera!! Love your videos and the way you are open about how you learned! Thank you for taking time to make videos and share!
Maybe it's because I just bought an a6600 and I'm trying to learn all about it, but you're channel has quickly become one of my favorite channels. Keep up the helpful tutorials, the positive attitude and inspirational videos. I'm really digging it! Thanks!
I just got my camera today and came across this video and i absolutely love your voice :] its calming and makes me want to listen and you’re funny. Cant wait to learn more about my sony a6400
I like your contents and it's been a while since I've known about your channel.I don't subscribe to any channel right away, But recently i found myself coming back to your channel frequently, so i thought why not subscribe. I feel like whenever a channel grows big it kinda loses its creativity. You have some excellent contents compared to those channels with larger audiences. Don't let the creativity fade away cause most of us stay because of it. Keep making these videos, they're fun to watch.
Awesome, thanks mate! There is so much tabs and sections in this horrible menu ;) Bought the preowned camera, reset to factory settings and set it up according to your advices. Thanks!
"First things first, I turn on camera like this" *click*. Had me dying 😂 love the content man! Been following you for a couple weeks now and have been binge watching
awesome video there really help me a lot and inspire me. but i want to ask some question do you recommend a6600 with 16-35 mm zeis for my wedding photograph and also some protrait and etc. hope you reply thanks 🙌
Great video. Thank you very much. Question: I am taking vertical headshots and the length is too long and the width is too short. How do I change that?
thanks for the video! very helpful since I am new to Sony Cameras. What's your favourite lens to use for the a6400? Im leaning towards getting a 16mm f1.4, which i heard was pretty versatile, but I wanna make sure I use the lens often.
I use RAW settings, but if I don't have a good light setup, the colors on pós production are dead. I can't bring them back. When I do, it looks artificial. I mean, I know how to treat an imagem on Lightroom. My avatar photo was taken and edited by me, for example. Idk if that's because of the kit lens, but on this photo i mentioned, I used the kit lens. So... I was wondering if some guy like you edit one of my photos would be good or this is a photography problem.
Love your channel! Thank you for sharing your experience. I recently started using a Sony a6400 with a Sony 35mm 1.8 OSS lens. But I'm not getting super sharp images. I shoot in RAW + JPG Fine. I've shot in auto-mode and in manual-mode. I've noticed that the camera is requiring a very high ISO for proper exposure. For example, in doors or good light, it's at about 1600-2000 ISO. AP and SS are normal. Is there some other setting I am unaware of? High ISO could be why the images aren't super sharp.
aloha~I m new w/a6400 my video came out foggie grey on sunny day outdoor not sure why...I am sure due to incorrect setting...also any recommendations on fast quick travel chargers? any idea/suggestion? thanks🤙👊
oh man! i have been caught up with gears that i forgot how good the camera i had at hand.... gotta get back to basic (photography) that i love and not worry bout gear lol. my content and photography has been bad but your vids made me think -- i could have done better! thanks!
Hello Brother. Thank You for the information. I have a question. Recently I bought a Sony a6400 camera with Sigma 16mm f1.4 lens. I wanted to add Sigma 56mm f1.4 as well to my collection for portraits. Is that a good idea? Or should I sell the existing Sigma 16mm f1.4 and buy Sony 18-105 G Master lens? What is your opinion?
Is there a way to set the picture profile to only be on when you select the video option on the Dial and then when you switch back to manual then the picture profile is removed?
Hey man, something really annoying me and wondering if you could help! If I change a setting, for photos for example, in manual mode then when I switch to movie mode, the setting also changes. So when I turn pp off in Manual mode, its also off when i switch into Movie mode! Any ways to change this? Thanks so much!
people like me that are new to photography might want to pick Jpg over Raw, Im still wondering about half or more of the camera's functions let alone how to color grade anything!
I really like the way you explain...nice and direct to the point. For sure I will use same as your camera settings for my new a6600. Thank you so much for your tips I appreciate it a lot.
i want to buy a new camera, A6400 or M6 Mark II is final camera’s in my mind after my research’s. Is there any new camera coming in this budget ? or i just go and buy one of this now. Need your help. please

hey, can you show us the video settings for a6300
