Turning radius could be better. Also old chairs had a quieter motor - I mean from 10 years before. This chair along with one before it make an annoying clanky click sound when engaging to drive. Overall Invacare in general does not seem to consult with the people using the chairs. Oh yea suspension has improved.
I just got this one. Not as good as one with previous motor. Joystick is pretty but annoying and frustrating because you have to look at the display to tilt, recline etc. Just getting used to it isn’t the solution. The previous joystick system was just a better system because your brain can memorize what right, left, forward back does. So no need to look at screen. On the positive side the hand control lets you turn lights on and off and honk horn. Also let’s you decide if you want legs to move together with recline or separate.
