I hate my TDX SR I was sent to seating clinic and was "fitted" for a new chair all I needed for my old chair was a bearing and seal, I'm rough on my stuff, but they said you need a whole new chair. If there any good thing about being shot is it happened at work, so W/C paid for it. i had to go back to the hospital for two weeks and was confined to bed pretty much for a year so at that time I had not been ON my new chair. Over $15,000 and I hate it.
To FolkPhotographer: I've been in an Auto Accident (car hit me driver's side) and lost the use of my left leg. I'm 6 foot 6 inches tall, and you said not to get this if you're tall. So what's a better chair to get? Insurance is paying for anything I need.
The chairs front wheels always lift off the ground when going up an incline and cause the riders weight to shif back way to far. The chair is dangerous to use. The fronts wheels come off the ground when going down and causes the chair to jolt and steer from right to left or the peadls hit the ground The rear wheels flutter and do not keep contact with the ground in cold weather. This causes the whole chair to violently shake and quickly wears out the bearings on the casters
I live in Europe and i'm interested in this chair and also the SP. If the TDX, TDX 2 and TDX 2 NB are all mid wheel drive, which they are, how come the TDX 2 and TDX2 NB have a turning radius if 112cm? How st able would the TDX SP 2 NB be if I add electric tilt, seat rise and electric elevating leg rests?
This chair does not work as shown in the video...It is only good for indoors.. The tires come with only a sixteenth of an inch of thread in the center and go bald in the center in less then thirty days.
i have a TDX SP and what you say is true, but I have not found that to be a problem in the normal operation of the chair. It still has enough grip to move around, and to stop it falling down hills.
I have tgis chair anbd it is a piece of junk...The foot pedals always hit the ground and cause serious expensive damage. Plus you well get a very painful jolt to your spine when the pedals hit the ground.
This chair will violently jolt your body all day long..It is very uncomfortable.. The controller is full of problems.. The rear springs have nothing to do with absorbing shock for comfort.. The springs are supposed to keep the castors on the ground but this only works for very small and light weight people. Oh and if you are tall do not get tis chair... IT IS A PIECE OF JUNK

I have this chair and it's great. My only quibble is the control module. It had had to be replaced twice in the year. Other than that, it's fabulous.
