This was awesome reliving this. I have the NFL week in review version but inside the NFL was so much better. Their helmet graphics were ahead of their time with the 16 color graphic card.
Harry Kalas was the best narrator for football highlights I really wish NFL films would go back to this format especially the soundtrack this is classic the highlights back then were carefully edited and scripted now they add in the broadcasters and crappy highlight music. This brings back fond memories when I was kid I used record all the episodes on VHS remember that lol and I would watch them a lot now ISTNFL is not what it used to be
Inside the NFL should have released DVD sets from all of their seasons. In the 80s and 90s the show was awesome! But once Len Dawson and Nick Buoniconti retired from the show it started to go downhill. But if they did release those seasons on DVD I would definitely buy them!

@@giants6025 The Phillies didn't make the playoffs in 1984 so IDK why Kalas would have missed but could of been sick, death in the family maybe. This is the only one in this era I ever recall him missing. Would you have anymore of these ITNFL's from the 80s by chance?
@@giants6025, Kalas was on assignment calling CBS Radio's coverage of the 1984 National League Championship Series that week between the San Diego Padres and the Chicago Cubs. Joel Crager, who was one of the voices on the ABC Radio Network and the ABC Movie of the Week, filled-in for Mr. Kalas that week.
Just heard of Len’s passing and immediately thought if this show and how great it was. Never missed an episode. Great QB. Will be missed.

Very odd not to hear Harry Kalas doing the narration of the highlights. He had to of Been sick or off on another assignment.
I noticed that I know he was the announcer for the Phillies, not sure if they were playing that week.
