I FINALLY UNDERSTAND. Thanks! If I use a digital whiteboard, all I'd need to do is have that open in a separate window. Then, when I switch to that window, the record button for the Screencast-o-Matic screen recorder will still be visible. Nice!

screencast-o-matic is a relatively undiscovered gem. I like the small.mp4 file size that is generated . Allows me to quickly upload to dropbox or email as an attachment
