- The cuboro cugolino marble run 'dynamcis' contains a few new tricks. Among other things, there is a ball that runs vertically up a track. However, once you've seen through it, everything can be explained logically.

These are exercises that should be performed and taught in schools of architecture. This is simply clean education for an architect and engineering.
These works are simply amazing. I want to construct few of these and then document them in Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros and Revit.

I love the video and the way you got all those marbles to do all the neat tricks especially all the magnetic ones
The level of complexity is increasing successfully. It begs for new pieces and path coordination. What you have done goes strong towards that direction. This deserves to be modeled and designed as a construction set for a video game. It challenges architectural drawing constructions where conventional drawing is not enough to document the dynamics of these magnetic gravity machines.
This throws us into old games like Marble Madness, Rolling Madness and many other games like Balance. The idea of a set of blocks and your wits provides a whole world to be explored, designed and constructed. These are little gardens of physics. That's what they are. Each one is fascinating on its own.
This is art, engineering and architecture in the strict sense.

@@galangjc2427 Yup, I can see it. That explains a lot about that trick. The marble that got launched up by the hammer lift drops down a hole in the back of the tower, where it hits another marble (which is attached to the other end of the string), and begins pulling on the string. At the same time, the marble we can see comes over and gives the purple marble a push, helping it break free of friction and allowing what’s happening inside the tower to pull it up and onto the horizontal track. As for the trick where the red marble goes down the slope and the purple one goes up, that’s probably a basic pulley system, just well hidden. And as for the tricks up above, the two blocks moving each other while not touching is most likely more pulleys, the pair of marbles that pivot around each other is probably done with extremely strong magnets, and the same goes for the purple marble pivoting around the green cylinder. The only trick I’m not sure about is the “invisible wall” one, where the red marble hits the end of the track and bounces back, despite there being LITERALLY NOTHING THERE.

I believe the company that makes this building system has motorized lifts you can buy, so technically you could set up one of those and then it would truly run forever (or at least all night).

Do you use a CNC machine to carve all the wood or are these standard kit pieces that you purchase somewhere?

Can you make a behind-the-scenes video about this marble run (you don’t have to rebuild it; just re-edit this footage) so that we can learn how you did some of these tricks? I know the gravity-defying one is absolutely made with strings, but the rest of these? How in the world does the red marble bounce back when it hits that dead end, despite there being nothing there to stop it? How do those two purple marbles pivot around each other when there’s no magnets in this setup? You can’t do _that_ with strings!
