Marble Run: Amusement Park for Marbles! (Part 1 - Testing)

- This marble run "Marble City" (will be renamed to Marblopolis) is an Amusement Park for marbles where they can choose between 30 attractions including twists, turns, loops, jumps, funnels, halfpipes and much more.
One descent can take from a few seconds to more than 3 minutes.
NOTE: This is NOT a Marble Race or Marble Racing Tournament! So it's doesn't make sense to post team cheering comments.
This video shows the project after completion of the main construction phase. But i'm still working on it to add more details and decorations and there are even some expansion spaces.
I will upload a longer and more detailed video when this project has been completed by adding names to the attractions.

Yes. We need this. It could be something straightforward parodic like Captain Marble, Spider- & Iron Marble, Black Marble... or Marbly & Me, Marbly Potter, Star Marbs, James Bolt? It could be some non-original story about the troubles and scandal a young marble from Mellow Yellow suffers to be with her Oceanic sweetheart... which would be entertaining for sure, maybe in the style of some tabloid gossip celebrity news presentation?
Most of all though, I think we need to see their world, an actual original and inspired take on how these idealized creatures live their everyday lives. We need a philosophical exposition about the downhill lives most marblekind experiences, we need convincing tales of alien abduction and documentaries about past marble wars and heroes. A documentary-style approach that would fit in nicely with the current Marblelympics production style too.

Why is the sound of this so satisfying. You'd think it'd be really irritating after a minute or two but like... It's strangely soothing hearing all the marbles rattling around. They look like they're having fun honestly.
Someone please make a stabilized tiny camera to go in a hollow marble to run each of these rides! If it does exist Jelle needs it for the videos!

@Brandon Even if Jelle can get his mitts on that, the rides don't really have the peristaltic motion relied upon by the everyone involved in the science show to make the pics gave any semblance of stability ... and I don't think it can stabilise itself otherwise.
I’m envisioning some kind of tiny fisheye lens camera mounted with a gyroscope inside a very clear plexiball? God, that would be cool. Also very disorienting.

I love how you care about those Marbles. So they are happy while running the Rainbow Track. Also Marbles travelling on the Lego Track over a platform is one of the most satysfying things I have ever seen.
Yeah, the Lego track travelers running through the platform is really cool! There can be some collisions with marbles coming off of other tracks as well.
An Underwater section (if possible) would be cool, because I hear Water Parks are all the rage amongst marbles these days
How cool would it be if there were rafts and marbles would raft their way through a lazy river?
And a zipline would be a nice addition.

If I was you I would do voice over of a father recollecting his trip to the amusement park with his kids (marbles). That way you can get a dynamic walkthrough of the different rides where you can go into as much detail and depth of the intricacies of each without it breaking the video pace but rather it would further deepen the "story" telling. It might make it seem like you have lost your kids (marbles) but I think it could be as amazing as your Olympics series.

12 dollars for single entry, 30 dollars for family pass (no extreme rides) Oceanics cost is 1000 dollars for singular, no rides. Food is 10 dollars per meal, 7 dollars for family pass. Water is free, soft drinks are 2 dollars.

This is the most legit marble amusement park I've ever seen in my entire life. Love it!
Love the huge number of different materials used. Every attraction is something completely different or at least made by a different company. Didn't expect to see Darda but it works surprisingly well...
Somebody needs to invent a marble with a gyro-stabilised mini camera inside so we can get a marble's eye view of these rides!

I used to build marble "parks" with my grandpa when I was a kid, too. But what you are doing is just the most amazing thing I've ever seen.
I love the marblympics as much as the next guy. You gotta love seeing how they're training and hard work has paid off. But there is something nice about seeing everyday marbles like you and me just having a good time.

It's good to see the competitors from the MarbleLympics taking some time to enjoy the off-season with the fans.
the first couple times I watched this video I didn't even really watch it, I just had it playing in the background while I listened and worked on other stuff. I don't know what it is about the sound of these marble machines, but I find them so soothing and relaxing. I wish I could have a video of this kind of footage going for hours that I can just play as white noise while I work.

I like how polite and civilized they are. They form cues and patiently wait for their turn. No unnecessary shouting or pushing. When two marbles got stuck at the entrance to a ride, a third marble soon came and nudged them along. We have so much to learn from marbles!
That shot at the end was amazing! It would be nice to see all the lights going and glow in the dark marbles on the rides.

That his hands-down the coolest marble run I've ever seen! Reminds me of those intricate contraptions from Looney Tunes where the bowling ball or bomb or whatever would roll through a myriad of chutes, ramps, spring-loaded launchers and other assorted devices before hitting the intended target at the end.
The idea of a marble amusement park is so charming and funny. I love it.
How amazing would it be to have a voice over this saying the info given in the text boxes. It could be like the narrator from how it’s made or unwrapped. That would add even more awesomeness to this already amazingly entertaining video

I'm just so glad that the lives of these marbles are not limited solely to competition, that they have chances for fun and play and enrichment like this.
I think that some kind of mesh sock tube, that would be narrower than the marbles but stretch out as the marbles slid vertically through it, could be a fun experience.
I wish I could see this in real life. I could probably stare and watch little moments happen all over for hours, the way people do with fishtanks. This is the most chill thing I’ve ever seen, and the soundscape is very pleasing as well. Beautiful work!

Alright, for some future expansion, how about a shallow water ride, or something that skims the surface of a small pool, akin to Diamondback from King's Island?
A water ride sounds nice, but it's difficult to make because a second water-resistant elevator is required and a system to dry up the marbles is required which will take a lot of maintenance.

alright, those are good points. what about some sort of actual roller coaster with cars and rails? I know that they have done things like that with the Lego GBC (great ball contraption), and it might be feasible (maybe not practical) to do something similar.
@@JellesMarbleRuns How about some drying system which would use Infrared heater (or lamp) plus Plinko Board track style to slow down the marbles, this could be potentially low maintenance and relatively safe drying system. (maybe add fan to increase efficiency)
Make this: a fan attached to around clear tunnel wher the marble get onto a scoop on the fan and then the fan stops and marbles are shot out forward and keep spinning in the tunnel...

Not even halfway through the video, I was getting the feeling that awesome was an understatement.
Uhh... *Top Hat* as a name for #29 ("Kerplunk" Funnel)? Because that's kinda what a two-stage funnel made me think of. If it had somehow been _three_ stages I might've been "funny" and tried to call it a Funnel Cake.
If you listen carefully, you can hear the marbles yelling "Wheeeeeeeee!" as they hit the loop.
Is it just me or should there be an additional marble racing championship on wooden tracks?

Wow...this is an absolutely amazing creation. I can only imagine the level of planning and attention to detail that went into putting all of those different rides together, and I hope you enjoyed every minute of it.

As much as I love the competitive series that you make; the child in me comes out every time I see these displays that you produce. It was these displays of complexity and creativity that first attracted me to your page and also inspired me to take up a hobby of creating Lego train layouts. I can appreciate the difficulty in continuing to maintain an entertaining channel so from a new channel creator I want say Thank You!
