I personally really enjoy the first three books from Jussi Adler-Olsen. After that they become a bit stale unfortunately. But great in depth video!
Jussi Adler-Olsen is also a Danish author btw. Apparently a lot of people mistake Danish for Dutch, so it happens :)

this was written in 1954 , children didn't think of that(meat eating was bad )back in 54. There are very mean kids. I grew up in Detroit city. There were brothers that were bullies on my block. They took a brick to my kittens .Some of the kids , the one that ended up in charge , anyway , I think is shown to have psychological problems . Unfortunately when there is someone terrible like him , kids aren't going to call him on it, they don't want the bully turning on them

I don't know if any other supplier labels books as Book outlet does , but do you know what the P.S. stands for ? Northline (P.S. Novel) thanks, very few answer their questions but I know you always do, if you don't know it's okay

i felt like William Golding focused a lot on what the story symbolizes, he didn't pay attention to other details

yeah I think you are right, but those details are very important, in my opinion, to make story believable and enjoyable, don't you think?

@@mypagesinbooks5392 suure i agree. i mean most people don't care what you trying to implify ( i am most people lol) as long as the storyline isn't harmed by any holes and unanswered questions. sometimes, writers hide details from readers intendedly which adds more to the story, but in this one it seemed more of ignoring rather than hiding tbh and that wasn't really smart.

Lord of the Flies is terrible, good in theory but not for me, and I haven't read it since high school... then as a parent now to kids that are like that age group... i don't see kids devolving into violence to be something reasonable. Kids, in my opinion, are very open and friendly and much better than adults lol
