Hey guys, writer here, love the questions distinguishing between the meaning of different words and it has sparked many conversations within my friend group. Aroma is generally something that is pleasant. "The aroma of dinner rolls wafting into the living room on thanksgiving" Scent is a distinct smell, you're basically describing an unmistakable characteristic. "The scent of freshly cut grass linger on your yard clothes as you walk in the door." Andy was dead on about smell, its literally anything that is perceived by the act of smelling.
In my early 20's (and even sometimes now) if I got cash for birthday, Christmas, or even our wedding I felt like I had to put it toward bills, gas, or groceries because I was living paycheck to paycheck which at that point makes the gift of cash not as fun. But if someone got me a gift card to a store I like then it meant I actually treated myself to a present. So I personally enjoy receiving and giving gift cards for that reason. Of course all of that hinges on the fact that it HAS to be a gift card to a store the recipient likes to shop at, if it's not then gift cards are much worse than cash 😂
I’ve never cosplayed nor have I been to a convention but I am thoroughly offended as an anime fan lol😂😂 Also cosplaying/cons are exploding in popularity
