It was damn cool. I loved how we were lucky to have him where the jacket. I even checked some other shows and sure enough, nowhere else had him sporting the jacket.
That’s awesome! You got to go backstage! That sounds like an amazing experience. 🤘 I also went to the Barclays show as well as last night’s in Newark. Amazing shows!
It was incredible. I didn’t start seeing them live till 2003 and they were amazing then and still are. I am not one of those people that says “gee I wish I could’ve seen them in the 80’s”. I don’t buy into that and I don’t care because this is still Maiden and still true greatness 🤘
All of the post reunion tours have been awesome. I definitely wish I could’ve seen them back in the 80s, but one could argue they’ve never left their prime.
Saw Future Past in Leeds, Manchester, San Diego, LA, & Philly, and loved them all. Nicko is a warrior! 🤘🏼 SIT & Senjutsu are among my favorite albums, and Alexander was amazing! Have a ticket for Madrid in 2025. So cool you met them-I would love to be able to someday. 🙏
Awesome that you were able to see them so many times this tour. Nicko really is one of the toughest guys in Metal for powering through this tour. Have a great time in Madrid! 🤘
Saw them 7 times, every show of the Australian tour this year, I also won twice First to the Barrier. Iron Maiden is my religion, I loved every single show... UP the Irons!
Very happy for you! I have tickets for Charlotte, NC on Wednesday. My first Maiden show was Somehere on Tour in 1987. Expecting Bruce solo U.S. dates to be announced soon after this tour ends. I saw him in Glasgow and Manchester back in May, and he was sensational! Cheers!
Have a great time on Wednesday! Beyond cool that you saw the SiT tour in all its glory. Hoping for some Bruce solos shows next year… I really want to hear The Mandrake Project live. Cheers! 🤘
I saw them in Toronto a couple weeks ago. It was an incredible concert !!! Bucket list item for me to FINALLY see Iron Maiden live. I’ve wanted to see them live since Somewhere in Time, but I never lived near a city that was hosting them. Decided this time to fly up. Well worth the wait. UP THE IRONS !!!🎉🎉❤
Hey CD guy! I was at both the same shows you were. Awesome shows, awesome set list. My favorite from the list definitely The Prisoner! We want Information! Comparing the two shows I thought the sound was better at Barclays, felt something was off right away at Pru when Doctor Doctor started, seemed way too loud. I was in section 18 (oppo your view from the Video) And could see Bruce really getting heated with one of the guys back stage near the end of the set. Would be interesting to know what was going on and or your take.
So cool you were able to go to both shows. I agree, the sound was better in Brooklyn. Initially I didn’t love the acoustics at The Barclays Center when The Hu were playing, but Maiden sounded incredible. I’m not sure what was going on with Bruce and the sound guy in Newark, but I noticed his mic going in and out during parts of Alexander The Great and Hell On Earth.
@TheCDGuyJZ I'm afraid my concert days are behind me. I'm disabled and hard to get around but I've seen my fare share of concerts my first was in 1975 a country concert my dad took me to see ( CW McCall ) and my last was in 2004 ( KISS )with my best friend , I can't think of a better concert to end with lol.
@@kerrydavidsadler980 The span of 1975-2004 had to be a great time for touring bands in their prime. Must’ve been some great shows! That 2004 KISS show sounds really cool!
@@TheCDGuyJZ I have seen so many great bands, ( Ozzy, KISS, Alice Cooper, Ted Nugent, Cinderella, David Lee Roth, Dokken, Peter Frampton, Sound Garden, Alice in Chains, Skid row, Foreigner, Bad company, Def Leppard, W.A S P, and many many more 🤘🤘🤘🇺🇸
A+ saw them in Ut. Greatest hits, indeed. Prisoner & Alexander were my highlights. These guys are the definition of RockStars & you will not see a better show. Adrian & Dave Rule🤘 and the whole band are jst tight, precise, and do it right. Up the frickin Irons!
Agreed there is no better show out there. The Prisoner should never leave the setlist again IMO… huge crowd pleaser. Loved finally hearing Alexander live. The band sounded super tough for sure. Glad you had a great time at the show!
I wish I was at this tour but saddly it just came to Sweden Rock here in sweden and not Gothenburg. But well I am going to see them in Stockholm this summer during Run for your lives tour.
Ranked the Barclays show at #11 on my concert rankings list. Amazing show and an awesome crowd. They truly found a way to seamlessly incorporate the new material which I now have a greater appreciation for inti a setlist with other classics. Can’t wait to see them again in Budapest in 6 months
Have a great time seeing them in Budapest! The Brooklyn show was probably the hottest Maiden crowd I’ve seen in the 6 times I’ve seen them live. Great atmosphere.
@ 6 times wow I’m jealous. That was my first (somehow) so trying to make up for lost time. Yeah that crowd was crazy, wasn’t expecting two pits. And they loved the new songs too which was so refreshing to see, especially with American crowds
@augustgeary5538 I’m not one for mosh pits, but I noticed a ton of young people on the floor moshing… maybe there is hope for Metal as an arena act 10-15 years from now.
@ me neither, went in one at symphony x for the experience tho. It’s great to see people still loving it and going out to see metal acts. Was a glad they sold out
Hope you got met up with Pete Padro from Sea of Tranquility. I heard that he was there at the show as well. I'd like to see you be a part of Hudson Valley Squares sometime soon. Great TH-camr with music knowledge
Much appreciated! 🙏 Funny you mention that… I bumped into Pete briefly at the bar and grill across from the arena. I introduced myself and told him about my channel. He wished me luck on my channel and that was it. I’d love to be a guest on his show one day. The best way to get me on his channel would be for people to keep recommending my content to him I guess.
thats awesome how much was backstage tickets ..how u get them ...awesome u got them to sign cd and pics with them ....be cooler if rest band signed it too but very cool
I don’t think they sell backstage tickets… I was fortunate enough to do media for the show through the channel. I wish I could’ve gotten the whole band to sign Seventh Son, but I’m certainly not complaining lol
Totally. Some of the people I recognized on the poster are Hannibal, Caesar, Vlad The Impaler and Alexander The Great. I could see them making an album similar to Heroes but instead about legends of combat.
Yes! Waiting on the official announcement to make a video. Hopefully in the next few days. I’ve waited nearly a decade to see them live again. Fingers crossed!
How would you grade the Future Past Tour? Let me know below!
It was damn cool. I loved how we were lucky to have him where the jacket. I even checked some other shows and sure enough, nowhere else had him sporting the jacket.

Saw them Friday night in Pittsburgh with a group of friends. They never disappoint!
Glad you enjoyed the show! The Pittsburg gig looked like an awesome night!

I wanted to go to the Philly show too… looked like a great time!
They were absolutely wild in Worcester, Massachusetts.
Awesome show, electric energy, lights, fog, great crowd, fantastic band .
This tour has had everything! The band have been firing on all cylinders. Glad you had a great time at the Massachusetts show! 🤘

Oh man it was a blast! Glad I could share it with everyone 🤘
