While conservative justices appear skeptical presidents don’t need some protections, they seem unpersuaded that Trump should be completely immune. NBC’s Laura Jarrett reports for TODAY.

Trump just needs to go away and it only takes common sense to know that he cares not about America or the American people he only cares about himself and trying to be some kind of king and destroying America and we as Americans cannot allow a criminal demon like him in the White House ever again, Vote Blue across the entire board 💙💙
Im a little okay on them taking the case as the process of creating laws requires adding details when such details were absent or vague. This is in part is to make sure a Trump Chump never shows up again.

The Supreme court intentionally hamstrung themselves on hypothetical questions that have no bearing whatsoever to the case at hand.
So without fully confirming the defendant's absurd assertion, they successfully served the defendant's underlying objective:

Hopefully the less partisan Republican-appointed justices join the Democrat ones in ruling against increasing Presidential immunity. Coney-Barret actually asked some of the best questions. If the delineation of what makes a president immune is an official act vs. a private act, it seems that the delineation is simple to figure out. If the act benefits the president, it's a private act, if it benefits others without benefitting the president, it's an official act. So taking home classified documents benefits the president and is a private act. Trying to overturn the election benefits the president and is a private act. Falsifying business records benefits the president and is a private act, etc. Trumps acts were all private acts which means he is not immune. Pretty simple isn't it?
