    It's funny that you are so careful and yet so clumsy... they really cancel each other out. It's hilarious

    I actually really enjoyed the relative silence of the video, I hate it when people talk so much while doing this stuff. Thanks for the upload.

    Hi, I bought a brand new sl-qd33 (K) a couple years ago at a Estate Sale as a back up for my yp-04. Now my yp-04 its giving me problem and Im thinking in taking out of the box the qd33 or buy a fluance rt82. What do you think qd33 or fluance82? Thank you in advance

      @@pepemomax hello qd33 is a nice retro decent Technics equipement. Low maintenance costs. T4P cartridge is easy to change. I like it.

    I have a Technics P30 turntable that has the Cueing light flashing and forcing my arm back into place, not allowing me to play the records, how do I fix it?

      Hello Mattia, however I did not find any P30 turntable, but if you mean this QD33 turntable cueing led flashing, I can tell you my experience. Once I got this turntable switched on after long period, the TT did not start but cueing led was flashing continuously. I red some Q&A-s on the web and it seems to be a construction problem. In some cases the arm motor stuck. So in that case I had to disassemble the TT and start the arm cueing motor by hand. After that it worked without problems.

      This is AT3482P but discontinued. Now you can find AT81P or Technics P34.

      Hello Piotr, I think it is not possible. It is fixed for T4P mount cartridge.

    Hi. recently there was an opportunity to purchase a record player of this model. what can you tell me about him. is it good equipment? is an entry device? can its sound quality be compared to high-end hi-fi equipment?

    • @levisolymosi8438
      @levisolymosi8438  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is a well built device. Very stable DD motor. You can also adjust the tracking force but 1.25 g is factory default. With 4P mount cartridge is a nice semi audiophile turntable. I liked it!

      And it has electronic turn back control (secound motor) which is most professional and does not harm the playback as mechanical return mechanism can do on most budget turntables.

    Hi there, i just bought a SL QD33 and i find that the arm descends down to fast hitting the record is this normal? I've looked at many videos including yours and this seems to be the case with all these SL QD33 turntables. Is this normal and is it safe for both the record and the needle? Thanks!

    • @levisolymosi8438
      @levisolymosi8438  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! Thanks for your question. I had two of this turntable. Both of them had the same speed of placing the needle. I think it is normal. You do not have to fear. It will not demage eighter vinyl nor stylus. Too slow hiting is also a problem( I have turntables (other brand) they hit slow the record but often jumps over 2-3 groovs at the begining.

      My 1991 stills work fine! I recent broke a AT445EU needle support because the descending speed and height. I reduce the height and tracking force on new stylus.
      But my bigger problem is the very limited upgrade options for cartridge/stylus. Suggestions apreciated. Thank you.

    I mean the whole turntable, is it possible to adjust the feet of this turntable?

    • @levisolymosi8438
      @levisolymosi8438  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has gumi rubber feet, as I remember with some springs inside the rubber. What you can do is to unscrew the feet and place some rubber material to higher the feet and use longer screws. Or just buy taller feet and replace the old. Thanks

    Anyone know how to correct the problem of the cue arm not going down on the tecnics SL-QD33?
    I replaced all the capacitors and i am still having the problem. If i manually press down on the tone arm rest the turntable will work fine it will play through and come back to it rest stand and shut down.
    Thank you

    • @levisolymosi8438

      I think it needs just some lube. The grease hardened on tonearm rest axle and it does not let down the rest.

    • @SDsailor7
      @SDsailor7 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@levisolymosi8438 Yes that is what it needed but the shaft/rod of the arm rest needed some oil lubrication so i applied a couple of drops of light oil and worked the shaft about 20 times and that did the trick.
      I also cleaned the old grease from the parts that required grease and applied new grease and now the TT is happy and singing again :-)
      Thank you for replying back.
      Cheers
