A rollicking, revisionist Western from Simon Wincer (Lonesome Dove, The Lighthorsemen), Quigley Down Under captures the spirit and romance of an era where cowboys would ride hard, shoot sharp and dip their hats to the sun.
Travelling from Montana to Australia with only a saddle and his prized six-foot long Sharps rifle, American sharp-shooter Matthew Quigley (Tom Selleck, Blue Bloods) is under the impression that he has been hired to despatch wild dogs and vermin from a cattle station. Instead he is assigned to murder and "eliminate" Aborigines from a wealthy cattle baron's land, forcing Quigley to make a moral stand and go from hunter to hunted - with evil gunslinger Elliot Marston (Alan Rickman, The Harry Potter series) hot on his trail.
Forced to take up arms against his former employer, Quigley sets out to prove that no one gets the best of a steely-eyed gun-fighter, no one except the mysterious and beauty Crazy Cora (Laura San Giacomo, Pretty Woman) who rides by his side and into his heart.

One of my favorite movies! What people don't realize is that in the 1800s it would take anywhere from six to eight weeks - or longer - to travel from the United States to Australia. That's a heck of a long time to be cooped up on a boat with no indoor plumbing or air conditioning!

I think six to eight weeks is optimistic, and given that they state that the ship arrives in Fremantle, I would guess he crossed the Atlantic and then went from the British Islands to the west coast of Australia.
That could easily have taken 5 months or more.
I know it often took more than half a year to reach New Zealand.

They had editors on staff, but between stringing together a few representative clips and a credit block, or just pulling 3 minutes out of the film, the latter was judged to be cheaper, easier, and quicker. So that's what they did, for every movie they prepped for iFilms & Netflix. Usually it was the last 3 minutes, and here's hoping it wasn't a murder mystery. Professional amateurs.

Bow thrusters were actually developed during the days of the Viking raids (circa 850). Bow thrusters (powered by goats in those days) aided greatly in the Viking long boats navigating the inland waterways, fjords and rivers of northern Europe and England. In fact, the word Vi-kung (or 'Viking' to our modern ears) actually means "pusher of the water from side to side in the front area of the boat below the waterline." Isn't history amazing?... :o)

Why not make sure that you are truly saved by Jesus Christ and practice this way.
Remorsefully confess with your heart your sins to Jesus Christ who is God and tell Him that you right now are repenting of your sins and you want to be born again of the Spirit from above. Tell Jesus that you are remorsefully sorry for breaking His commandments and that you are begging for forgiveness from Him. Allow His blood from the cross to wash away your sins. After this is done with your heart successfully the Holy Spirit will come to live within you and He will rebuild you from the inside out.
Look for signs that you are living righteously. Things like spreading the good news from Jesus, getting other people saved, a craving for the word of God, reading the Bible, etc… These things are known as a calling and fruit bearing. If you're not bearing fruit then keep doing it. Sometimes it takes time to get saved. Read Matthew chapter 13 from the King James Bible. God bless!!!

You would do well to keep your lies and phony righteousness to yourself. Look into your own soul before you try to convert others to your pseudo-religion. And try to grow a set of balls so you can use your own name.
