I almost bought one of these the other day but wound up getting another K390 Spyderco. I really love K390. I'm going to try and hold out for other blade shapes on the Bexar.

@@LeftyEDC Yeah, I get you on the rust thing. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan so it's pretty dry up here and I also use lots of tool steels on woods knives and like patina so that makes a big difference too. Thanks for the reply in the video. I watch all your videos and these are a cool idea.

I just ran across them today while making my rounds of knife shops. It was the Rockwell on EKnives. They look good but are a little small for me.

Really like the nice simple clean looking design of this one. The spring on it is definatly well tuned and the thinness makes it disappear in the pocket. I prefer a drop point on my knives as they are more versatile but I can definatly see why you would want a sheepsfoot for EDC. The only other thing for me would be to make it a bit longer or add a choil for better grip on it. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable.

I hear you and I totally agree when it comes to blade shape - I’m also a huge fan of wharnies/sheepsfoot blades and their practicality and utility. I’ve been so close to pulling the trigger on one of these for weeks now because I love the design as far as modern slipjoints and I’ve been wanting to check out Magnacut and Tactile, but i think the blade shape is one of the only things holding me back. Thanks for another excellent review man 🤙

That’s a really good looking knife. I’ve always liked really thin knives, they carry so easy.

Met those guys at Blade Show Texas, you can tell Tactile is a great company. Told them I owned the first Rockwall, they instantly got me set up for the lock bar upgrade free of charge. If this Avionics gig doesn’t work out for me, I would love to work for Tactile.

Yea i agree. With time i came to the same realization. So i designed something almost as thin but way more sturdy and better executed with a sheepsfoot and finger choil. Check out the Urban EDC Barley. It drops tomorrow on their website.

Bexar or Béjar is a Spanish surname and is not a nuance of Texan English. And it is definitely not pronounced bear. I have lived in Spain for 33 years and know quite a few people with that name.
The Spanish speakers who lived/live there deserve more respect.

Say that to every other Anglicanized word used in English or borrowed words in any other language in the world. There's a "right" or at the very least, common and accepted, way to pronounce any given word depending on where you live and the context of the language is. Asian words in English are a hell of a lot more broken than Spanish every will be in English

Cultural appropriation is not a "right" and it wasn't that long ago and Spanish speakers are common in Texan (also mispronunciated). It says a lot about the character of the people, it's ours now and we'll pronounce it the way we want.

@@pauljosephbuggle3722 i honestly just think they don’t know the background all that well and just hear how ppl say it and then say it the same. Then some guy from PA on youtube says it. Its just how it goes. I really don’t see how pronouncing something one way or another is disrespectful. I was just making it clear that the X is not pronounced, thats it.

@@pauljosephbuggle3722 It's horribly unrealistic to expect all people to know how to pronounce a word in a different language. Cultural appropriation doesn't apply to language either lol.
"It's ours now and we'll pronounce it the way we want." Have you ever stopped to consider that some people know how to pronounce a word, but simply can't? Or, they don't have the time or the need to learn how to manipulate their mouth to make those sounds. It's not as if Spanish doesn't incorporate aspects of other languages, including English. Do you see English speakers shitting on Spanish speakers for saying an English word incorrectly? Probably not
