I used to love his talk show and it just crossed my mind after 20yrs? So I Googled his name and hit the news search and an article came up from Nov 2023 he was volunteering in Ukraine! I was shocked lol he should come back and do a podcast
I don't think Cynthia Mulligan would agree with you. Read her victim impact statement during Bullard's trial sentencing. Bullard was a very sick individual
Lets see, a failed career as a police officer, cancelled tv show(s), a cancelled radio show, followed by criminal convictions for stalking his ex girlfriend. Sounds like a real winner.
@@daleferdinand The topic of the case was brought up to him just a few months before his death. He was still angry and very bitter about it. He brought the whole thing on himself by his behavior and I would bet that resentment/anger played a role in his death
When Bullard was signed by Global to do a talk show-he became so full of himself that he proceeded to run down CTV at every opportunity-despite the fact that they had given him his first opportunity on their network with "Open Mike"--he claimed they didn't publicize the show enough etc etc---CTV ultimately replaced "Open Mike" with the Daily Show with Jon Stewart and the ratings were far above anything Bullard had done---ultimately Bullard's show completely tanked on Global--he now has lost his noon hour radio show on CFRB over stalking claims made by an ex-girlfriend (Cynthia Mulligan)-he has gone from the "top" to the bare bottom in a very short time
I miss MIKE.... When he was originally on TV, it took me awhile to digest his humor. But then It grew on me... Canadian broadcasters as always suck bc they should have kept Him on longer. Now global has that crap Frank D'angelo.. 🙄👎👎
Bullard was one of the most inept and cringeworthy interviewers ever. Most of them were train wrecks with his lame passive aggressive jokes that were tepid at best. These days his career has tanked and now has been reduced to some forgettable Mississauga talk radio show with a dozen listeners at best
I'm sorry but his guy isn't funny at all. On stage, he feeds off the audience and just uses them to make him look funny. Real standup comedians tell great funny stories, make hilarious observations tell funny jokes (they don't pick on the audience in this way unless someone heckles them). A true Canadian comedian with the name Mike would be Mike MacDonald, not Mike Bullard.
Yeah he always reminded me of a guy who was trying to hustle chicks in a club who were in their twenties, telling knock knock jokes while flashing his credit cards around, lol
I remember the show. Bullard? ehh not really funny. Ive worked with guys who were much funnier. The show was just a cheap rip off of the other endless talk talk shows. Nothing special really, but the band was great. So hater stuff, the show just tanked because it wasn't that good
i remember watching his show at 12 am on ctv and global, good times. That's when YTV had all the good shows too, reboot, beast wars, hey arnold etc
classic late 90s canada lol
@@guyfromcanada88 lol good times
RIP Mike Bullard. I used to love his show.
Loved the show, especially the band. Orin Isaacs and his band were so underrated.

i remember playing the bullard show with my band... and George was the guest lmao
Oh nice, did you lot hang on to any footage? Would be nice to check it out
mike is awesome-i miss his talk show
I remember watching him as a kid. Funny guy, love his type of comedy too.
We love you Mike ❤️
It’s a shame how things turned out for Mike
RIP Mike
I have worked odd jobs with people funnier than this.
Mike Bullard.. holy epic!!
Listen to him every day...
You just read my mind exactly.
Global gave him good money for Canadian Tv
The show only lasted 3 months--the ratings were so low that even "gophers" couldn't find them

He served his sentence. Let him live his life.

Whoa! Don't remember any of this is Canadian headlines!
It all worked out.

Lol who
I'd bet you like watching train wrecks too
I never liked his show (no interesting guests) but the guy is funny.
I like his suit. personally I'm not a fan of him, although it is hard job.
His arrogance is part of what makes him funny.
NewWhirledOrder exactly
Arrogant, boring
I listened to this hoping that Mike Bullard had changed, but was sadly disappointed - he's still arrogant and still boring to listen to.
I always found him more annoying then funny
Row Row Row youR boat.

I'm guessing you're one of those listeners.

Oh, put a cork in it you hockey puck!
Ha ha ha........Ditto buddy. I speak the truth.
Bullard was cocky, untalented and not funny!
