I am crying now because Ginger is my cat I was feeding for so many years on Ditmas Park area. I remember him since he was a young teen full of energy ready to play and hunt. He was a warrior he was a master of this place. Not everyone could pet him, I could but only to some moment when I reach the red line. I am so happy for him, he is in good hands. We, caregivers, taking care of stray cats 365 days a year no matter what giving our time, energy, finances and LOVE to who need our support helping them to survive.I am grateful to Flatbush Cats who takes the lead and doing the second part of a long journey for cats from street to home. This video is the best present for me on this holiday season. I miss you, Ginger, be happy with your lovely family. ❤😊
Oh, wow! I thought Ginger was someone's pet that had been abandoned. Feral cats usually take a long time to adapt to a home, if they ever do. With Ginger being so friendly and adjusting to indoor life, I assumed he was a previously loved pet. Thank you for sharing his backstory and for giving him some love.

Awww, what a sweet story! I just lost my 18 yr. old big boy to debilitating arthritis on Oct. 10. I had lost his 12 yr. old companion 3 years ago to GI cancer and it was the 1st time in 45+ years, I came home to an empty house. I was crushed! Then, I had an opportunity to foster a senior girl, age 16, and in good health who was not getting the attention she deserved from her learning disabled owner. She has now been with me for 3 weeks and has settled right in as if she has been here for years! I am so happy to be able to give her the love & attention she desrves and to have a kitty to cuddle with again! Cats are the best!
This made me sob with joy and relief😭😭 I have a 13 year old grey tabby who makes a similar noise to Ginger Beer! He’s the love of my life, the best cat I could ask for. He was found in the walls of a hotel when he was a kitten and I’ve had him for at least 6 years now. He’s a healthy boy except for his managed kidney disease. Thank you so much for all y’all do for cats just like mine! I love watching these videos and I’ll continue to enjoy the journey! ♥️
