Was trying to think of a way to teach useful but kinda niche bits of information that are hard to fit into normal videos. Lemme know what you guys think.

Great video as always, I'd focus less on the mechanics of the game (which are still useful to know obviously) and more on the "This is the game state, do you back, gank, clear" "do you have time to do X camp in this situation" and so on which are probably a bit more useful to know to climb tho. But keep up the good work, you're criminally under subbed and this will change if you keep uploading pearls like the vids in the last few weeks/months
@@Muwubot Yeah I'll try out a quiz format on some of the long VOD commentaries. I'd have to remove too much important context if I put those in short quiz form like this. I'll try to do a mix of both, since I think they're both important in their own ways.
Make this into a series and It will be very successful.
If this video does okay I'll probably do a quiz once or twice a month. Sounds like a fun occasional quick vid. There's quite a number of good topics - vision, ranges, important champ CD's, etc.
For that last question, if you know where an enemy placed a ward, you can always hover your ward over it to see the vision range.

this is a super innovative way to teach, and it has really great flow and animation! i havent played in forever, so i only got two right, but i love seeing these kinds of different formats being invented and tested, im honestly hyped for the next one. this was awesome Phylaris, i hope to see more in the future.

Nice format of video for challenging junglers knowledge. The Catchup XP was by far the hardest IMO and the Drakes tricked me, since I counted Hextechs statik as an auto that hits multi targets. 5 out of 7. Keep the great content

I am so lucky not that long time ago I looked up at when duo laners hit lvl3 and remembered that, so 7 out of 7, your jungle EXP video made the gromp question easy. Great video can't wait to see more like this one in the future

Yes please more videos like these are very helpful as a jungler in this meta! I got 4 right, the dragon question through me off with the hextech but it was a fair question and then the blast cone spawn at 5 minutes I was trying to recall the time I thought it was 430 but now No Excuses !

You can also ask thing like when and where to ward and base change to sweeper at the start of the game to get better information about enemy jungler. I think some of them like warding chickens or river pixel bush againts invades could ve pretty useful

That one's different tbf, kill catchup xp and camp catchup xp use different formulas.
I didn't know the question about yuumi attached, I thought it would work the same as hullbreaker
5/7 didn't know the plant one and thought catch up xp applied if 1 level behind
the only wrong answer was the avrg team lvl. i dont know the word "catchup" so i kinda messed up trying to figure it out what was the correct one for taking that Gromp.
btw i rlly like the quizz video, bring more and more udyr content:)
I learn a lot from this video even if im master jgl tier, that impressive, but maybe do some macro choice, like virkayu does, or how u would react to moves, but yeah great concept ! Short and it's fun to learn !!
I usually leave the larger macro explanations for the VOD commentary videos, since putting them in quiz format usually leaves out important context, but I might format some of the VOD commentaries in more of a long quiz format now and then.
Niche information like this is good. Never really thought about the timer on those bomb plants, but now I may consider different routes because of it. Like, I think 5:00-530 is a canon wave too? Could be an interesting timing to explore
5:30 is when allied cannon (wave 6) arrives at your outer turret in sidelanes.
@@Phylaris Yeah, that’s the timing I was thinking. Maybe a slow pushed wave could crash by 6:00 depending on lane state.

good video but some of these questions are not about jungle, they are about specific situation or specific champion, for example the Khazix and Yuumi one, the khazix doesn't even have to be a jungler, it can mid lane or top lane khazix player
and some of the questions are useless
for example knowing that ward in bot lane bush doesnt see you is very useful in game, knowing when laners get level 2 and 3 is very useful
but like knowing it takes Exactly 10 seconds for rift to do damage to tower or how much catch up exp junglers get from gromp, they are very useless
if you are spawning rift, you are spawning it regardless of how long it takes for it to damage tower
if you are behind in exp, it doesnt matter how much catch up exp you get, you need to farm
anyway, the Editing of the video was Good, your voice is good, some of the questions are really helpful and overall a great video

This was a good video. I got 5 correct. the 2 I got wrong were blastcone spawn and dragon attacks. I think I got the dragon one wrong because my team never rotates so all dragon attacks are single target.

Got a 5 but the laners hitting 3 was a 50-50 guess.
Managed to get 4 right which isn't too bad for me. I don't get to play often and am not that good so the niche questions were interesting to hear and try and remember!

The catchup experience one was weird, since I know that Riot rounds the level up. But I guess in case of exactly 7.0, there is nothing to be rounded up. If anyone levels up, the jg gets 50 catchup experience
If anyone levels up he gets 100, since it's 50 per level gap.
@@Phylaris Oh, so 1 level gets ignored, and starting from 2 levels, every level is 50 catchup XP?
@@zeronothinghere9334 Every level is 50, but 1 level below game avg is set to 0. So it goes 0-100-150-200, etc.

I have been diamond every season since s4 only knew 2 and guessed 3 right without knowing.
imo this wasn't a jungler specific quiz it was just general knowledge. Try doing a should you gank this type of quiz or based on the cs where might kayn go
Those kinds of questions are better left for longer game commentary type videos. Putting them in short quiz format removes too much important context. I'll probably do a mix of both.

I’ve always came across the plants soon after 5:00, so i assumed they spawned in then. I also knew yuumi didn’t cancel hullbreaker buff, so i assumed it wouldn’t cancel khazix isolation. So close.
In the past she didn't cancel iso, but I think there was a patch where Kha iso was getting cancelled by stuff like Cait traps, Yuumi, etc. They fixed the other stuff but intentionally left Yuumi in.
@@Phylaris The bug became a feature. Riot classic. Alltough in this case i think its kinda fair.
